Omniscient Narrator

He felt light like a few years back, it was something his body had seemed to have completely forgotten. The sensation was incredible; there was no longer a weight on his back and his limbs were relaxed.

"If he goes on like that, I'll kick him, hm..."

The raven's closed eyelids tremble upon recognizing a voice in the depths of his immense darkness, and the fingers on his hand even move, anxious to entangle themselves in an exquisite golden hair.

"Deidara-san, have patience, please." That sweet melody was none like the other, on the contrary; it dripped with enough comprehension and gentleness. "Remember how you, too, went through the same."

"We've been waiting for him for two hours!" The masculine voice grunts, denoting how disgruntled its host is. However, if Obito sharpened his ears even more, he would find traces of nervousness and concern. "And you've waited too long for him, hm. You shouldn't spoil him so much."

"Uh..."

He opens his eyes slowly, his head hurts and his throat is dry. Strangely, he doesn't seem to be affected by either, if anything they incite him to continue waking from his slumber.

When his orbs can finally stabilize and observe everything around him, he can't help but to recognize two important figures to himself. Immediately, his eyes begin releasing tears, making the two figures smile; although one tried to hide their face.

"Obito," A girl of brown hair and purple rectangles on her cheeks greets him. She lets out a gentle laugh when she hears the muffled "good morning" from the raven. "You're still a heavy sleeper."

"And you're still an idiot," The one of golden hairs murmurs, arms crossed and looking somewhere out in the distance; although he could tell they were in the middle of nowhere itself, a dimension of warm colors and stars. "You should really think of everyone around you, hm. We've been waiting for almost forty years, stupid."

"W-what?!"

He found the scared expression on the man's face to be funny, and without being able to help it, Deidara let out a laugh, ignoring the look of accusation the infant's face sent his way.

"Deidara-san, please." Rin pleaded in a sigh. "It's only been two hours since our last encounter, Obito; don't be alarmed."

He nods; relaxing, and that's when he remembers the last thing he lived: handing over his Sharingan to Kakashi and the wish he trusted Naruto with. He knows that the beat-up ninja could accomplish his goal of becoming Hokage, he was sure of that.

Deidara looks at him, expectantly. It seemed that the raven hadn't gotten ahold of the situation. When Deidara had arrived to this world, he had hoped that Tobi would too, be here. After all, he had become art when the masked man was near his grand explosion. Big was his surprise when he found himself with Rin Nohara and when she told him that, in reality, his stupid partner was an Uchiha called Obito, ex-ninja of the Leaf and her teammate. He felt betrayed and he would've damned him a million times over, however, he observed him and continued waiting for him, always looking at the actions that this man carried out and holding the urge to give him a few slaps on the head so he would react.

Upon returning to the world of the living, his memories of the spiritual world had evaporated into nothing, so he couldn't carry out his goal of gifting him a good punch.

His blue eyes look at the pair that lived between them. Obito had sat up and Rin had kneeled in front of him. He holds in a sigh and the urge to blow everything to pieces; first, from the absence of clay, and second, for the stupid smile the Uchiha sported. He was... happy, for being able to see his old teammate.
