Seven Months Later

"Mother, the baby isn't even here yet, and you're already spoiling her rotten", Grace and her mother were doing some last minute shopping,  since the baby was due anytime soon, Victoria thought it'd be a great idea to get Grace out of her fowl mood she had bin in ever since she got home.

Given the fact that Grace was so close with her family, she'd told them all that had happened.

Of course, Victor, her dad went balistic when he learned about the horrible way his daughter was treated by Calibah Alejandro's father, but had willingly respect the wishes of hus daughter to let bigons be bigons, especially for wgat she had lost

"I'm going to be a grandmother,  I'm so excited", Victoria exaggerated.

What she'd gotten already, her mother seem to buy more of, it gave her a warm loving feeling knowing that even her baby girl would grow without her father, but she'd still be given the love and attention from her family,  Even that couldn't qualm the isolation and loneliness she felt.
Not only did she lost the only man whom she loved,  but she felt as though a piece of her was lost also.

Often times she'd be awaken out of her nightly rest by the words of that dreadful man, " go and never come back, you have killed him, you killed my son; this is all your fault", they haunted her.

That day she had pleaded for her life, he was going to kill her.

"Sweetheart look at this, isn't it the cutest thing", Victoria squealed, sounding like a child given candy, taking Grace out of her horrible thoughts.

They were in the baby section at Walmart,  Victoria held up a pair of leopard baby booties .

Grace had to smile at the sight of her mother and the product, but her eyes soar past by her mother to a absolutely gorgeous that seemed to take interest of something on the shelf.

The man seemed too good to be true, at one point Grace felt as though she was imagining things, that her mind was playing tricks on her, the man was simply good looking,  he reeked of sexiness,  that made her sex drive run wild.

Her hormones was sending her crazy, Grace quickly looked away before the man saw her drooling for him.

...................................

Alejandro wanted to surprise his expecting sister, it was the least he could do after everything that they had done for him.

When he had come out of his coma, his brother, mother, father and sister were all there, awaiting him. His memory still wasn't clear on anything but the doctor did confirm they were his family, so he had no choice but to believe.

They nutured and cared for him, so he had been so grateful to have had such supporting and loving family, and even though they insist on showering him with their wealth and fortune, he took little from them until he could stand on his own.

His eyes strangely landed on two women couple paces away from him.

Though one of them was facing his direction he couldn't see her face,  but he could tell even though the other woman back was to him, she was the elder among both.

But Alejandro had the strongest urge to see the woman that was facing him, he couldn't see.

..........................................

Then it happened, Grace and Victoria were heading towards his direction,  Alejandro suddenly felt nervous.

"She's just a stranger", he thought. He had no idea why he felt the way he did.

"Excuse me ladies, I'm looking for something, anything to get my niece, what do you recommend", Grace turned white, the cellphone she held in her hand dropped.

She couldn't believe what she heard, that voice, his voice it was so much like the man she loved.

"Grace, are you alright dear?", her mother asked.

Grace quickly stooped to pick up the device, at the same time Alejandro joined to assist her.
Their hands touch and the fire that ignited between the two was memorable.

They both locked gazes, Alejandro thought she had the most beautiful hazel eyes,  he felt as though he saw them before, it had him confused, for they have never met but tgey seem all too familiar, even her touch and her intoxicating perfume
She was a goddess, his disappointment arose when his eyes trailed down to her huge abdomen, she was pregnant.

Those blue eyes, those heavenly blue eyes,

"Alejandro", she whispered.
Grace felt light headed,  it can't be, before she could she could say anymore, her water broke.

She heard her mother call her name, but no words could not form.
The pain hit her hatd and sharp.

"Mommm!!!", Grace screamed.

...............................................

"We've got to get to the hospital,  she's due anytime soon", Victoria stressed.

"How does she know my name?", it was all Alejandro could think about.

"Please", Victoria begged.
"I'm sure everything would be explained at the hospital just let's get going", Victoria said to him.

Alejandro was hesitant, he didn't know these people,he barely knew himself, but he felt it right to help.

With one lift, making it seem like no struggle at all, Grace was in Alejandro's arms.

Victoria was stunned at the man's strength. The weight of her daughter was surely deadly but tge man made it seem like a piece of cake.

Grace felt that same sense of security and protection she once felt in the man's arms, she felt that warm familiar comfort,  she wanted to ask, wanted to know,  but the pain was unbearable.

"My car is this way", he carefully but hurriedly led the way. Victoria following behind with a pant.

Grace bit down into Alejandro's shoulder, trying to find a way to conquer the increased pain, Victoria looked on at the scene,  she felt sorry for him but watched as the man didn't even flinch, for unknown reason it made her smile, she was beginning to catch on who he was.

"My left back pocket", he told Victoria now standing in front of the navy blue Mercedes.

She understood where he was coming from and quickly fished out the car keys.

Another scream by Grace.

He slowly strapped her in the back seat, Victoria choosing to sit so she could comfort her daughter's head in her lap.

Then they were off.
