Lost In The Rain Part 1

Kiba walked home as quickly as he could, he really regretted using the training ground the furthest from his house. Rain was pouring down and he only had his hood to hide him. He was happy however that he left Akamaru at home, he could get sick out in the rain. Kiba turned down a street only to see more people he figured were braving the harsh weather just to get home. He rolled his eyes but then noticed that the people weren't moving just staying huddled in one area, that's when he noticed their arms and legs swinging back and forth. he realized they were attacking someone so he did the first thing he thought to do. "HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" he yelled pulling out a kunai. The men quickly looked over and then one of them seemed to yell to another person who was up in a house. The man left the house and all four ran off as the boy ran up. As Kiba got closer he could see that there was someone on the ground where the men where, the closer the got the more angry and sadden he was. As he got even closer he was able to see that it was but a boy about his age, then he realized it was his classmate, Naruto. He looked over realizing the building was an apartment building and one of the doors seemed to be open.

Kiba knelt beside Naruto letting go a breath, he hadn't realized he was holding, when he heard the soft sobbing noises coming from Naruto. "N-Naruto?" Kiba asked a bit hesitant. "Please don't hurt me" Naruto replied sounding weak and scared. Kiba could see blood mixed with the water around Naruto, Naruto also covered his face with his hands and arms and those where badly scratched and cut. "Naruto its me Kiba, from academy" he said feeling even more angry by the state Naruto was in. Kiba didn't know Naruto well but he knew Naruto didn't deserve this. "K-Kiba...." Naruto gave a long pause, "Please don't hurt me Kiba" He said. His words sent shock through Kiba and pain to his heart. He lifted Naruto up and pulled him to his chest, "Is that your apartment?" Kiba asked. "You can take whatever they didn't take just please." Naruto responded still hiding behind his arms. "Naruto i would never hurt you, i have no reason too." Kiba responded tears filling his eyes at the obvious fright in the blond. "You don't need a reason, no one ever has..... they just do it." Naruto said. Kiba walked the beaten and weak boy over and up to his apartment, "Come on here we go." Kiba said as he walked the boy in. Kiba noticed how dark wet and cold the place is, and everything was turned over and the small bed was sliced up. Naruto's harms moved juts a bit for him to take a peak, but as soon as they were open a bit a flash of lightning and boom of thunder had them closed and him in a ball.

Kiba thought for a moment and decided something he knew was very stupid. He noticed that Naruto's clothing weren't really meant for the rain and he was left soaking and shivering, Kiba pulled off his coat and put it over the blond flipping the hood up. "This is no place for a kid to stay." Kiba said as he turned him and Naruto out and started walking back out into the rain. "Wh-where we going?" Naruto asked as they reached the street. Kiba looked at the little blond who began to uncover his face a bit, Kiba saw cuts and scrapes on Naruto's forehead and sighed. "We are headed to my place." Kiba smiled softly, the sadness still showing in his eyes.

Kiba walked the boy all the way to the Inuzuka clan residence and straight to his families house. Kiba pushed the door open and brought Naruto inside, "Kiba, is that you? you know its raining something fierce out there what took you so..." Tsume had started her sentence in the kitchen but as she walked into the main area, and caught sight of her son with the easily recognizable Uzumaki menace, cut it off. "I saw him being beat up on the side of the road, his place was trashed and cold and he is my classmate and all so i was hoping he could spend the night, ill sleep on the floor." Kiba said the look of sadness and pity still in his eyes. Tsume was left speechless, she wasn't one of the people who treated Naruto like the Kyuubi, in fact she is reasonable enough to know that he had no choice in being the jinchūriki    and all, but she still didn't know how to react. "Ummm, y-yeah o-ok." she said knowing that if she said no she would have to explain why, and since that's forbidden well she cant.
