Lost in the Storm

Kiba dashed forward with rage and worry as he watched naruto collapse. The tornado had been disbursed but the wind still twirled and showed obvious signs of reforming. The people who once watched naruto as he saved their lives, took one last look at him before running. No one made a move to help the boy, that enraged the Inukua boy even more. Kiba fell to narutos side and quickly lifted him up, he carried the small blond as fast as he could. He dashed and weaved through the streets, seeing the inuzuka grounds ahead.

Trees shook and rain smashed as in the distance two weak cyclones began to spin off in different directions, one cutting through the outskirts of town but not doing bad damage. Kiba carying the unconscious boy, dredged through mud and branches and slide into his yard. "Hana! help me please, open the door." He shouted holding naruto unsure of what his condition was. The door quickly swung open and his sister dragged them both in, she closed the door and rushed the boys to Kiba's room. The Inuzuka boy laid Naruto in his bed and held his cheek, "Naru, come on why would you do this! these people are awful to you why would you go save them!!!" he nearly yelled full of emotion. Hana ran in to begin to try helping, she used a wet cloth to wash away some of the dirt and to clean the scratches. Growling from how useless he felt, Kiba stomped off and hid himself in the bathroom. Kiba stared at the floor in confusion, anger, and disapointment. he couldnt do anything and it pissed him off.

Kiba couldnt even understand why he was so enraged why his emotions felt so amplified. "Naru, from this point on ill protect you i swear" he said looking into the mirror. His face covered in mud and scratches. He sighed and opened the door walking out. "I-is he alright?" He asked his voice quivering a bit. "Hes fine kiba hes just fine, he over exerted himself. Give him a good nights sleep and he will wake up good as new. To a bright sunny day" his sister said patting her brothers shoulder as she walked off. Kiba walked over to the bed and climbed up pulling naruto to him, holding him, shielding him.

~Perspective shift~

The rain crashed down in the streets as the team of 4 ninja walked down the road, "why us why not the other 4?" Questioned a short and small hooded one. "Because were soundless?" Retched the twisted voice of the tall thin one. "Because were better" said the one in a spiritual fox mask. The fat one grunted and let out a short deep laugh. They walked towards inuzuka clan houses. "Are you sure this is the right way Yamaki?" Asked the small hooded one as they skipped forward spun around and walked backwards facing the one in the mask. "If its not we just get some bonus points before leaving, now Bonibo thicken this storm you fatso!" Said the tall one. Banibo raised his thick fingers in a symbol. "Intensify" he growled out. The one in the mask, that they called Yamaki, just stared forward with dark dead eyes.

The storm grew thicker and harsher as the hooded one backed into a wood post. "Ouch" he said rubbing the back of his head and turning around. Yamaki stepped forward and beyond the sign post. "Remember two targets boys, the uchiha, and the uzumaki." He pulled out his kunai holding it out to the side. He began to stalk forward with a cackle. "You heard him keki" banibo said to the hooded one and began walking forward, "lets get these targets, let Shuku play his little creeper game alone." He let out another deep laugh and stomped forward his fat shaking all around. The hooded keki dashing off in a zig zag patern off to hunt. The tall one, Shuku, giggled and creeped forward to join the others.

"I still don't know why we are working with that snake, as I said he coulda sent his 4." Keki said from his spot on top of a post.
"Because he wants the uchiha for some experiment and he wants the naruto kid cause of the Akatsuki's interest in him." Yamaki ranted off, annoyed that he had to explain it again.

The team walked up to one of the houses and gathered together. "Remember... we were never here" Yamaki said before lunging at the building.

*Perspective shift and time jump*
Naruto woke with a stinging pain all over his body but most notably in his neck. He could remember the tornado and the villagers screaming and then kiba yelling. But that wasn't it. He also remembered waking up to four men standing above him, then back to black. Had that been a dream, or more accurately a nightmare.
As he fully woke he began to notice the boy holding him. His head softly turned and he looked at the dog lover, still fast asleep and holding tight. The blond smiled and held tight to the sleeping protector. "Safe" rang a deep voice in his head.

Naruto finally decided to slip out of the other boys grasp and get up, he was kinda hungry and kinda had to pee. He pulled the curtain open and the light from a fresh morning poured in, and he could see the remnants of the storm from last night. Flashes of the tornado sent shivers down his spine. He turned to the boy in bed and received the blinds as to not wake him.
Naruto carefully crept to the bathroom and relieved himself before stalking to the kitchen only to find mrs. inazuka making breakfast. She smiled to the blond and softly patted his head. "You have Kiba quite the scare last night, gave us all a scare."

That would be how time would go on, though usually naruto would sleep in a second bed placed in Kiba's room. But all would be the same. The boys would spend time together and Kiba and the Clan would protect Naruto. With their help naruto actually became some what respected and trained even before being put in a team.
Team 7 was formed of naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Much to Kiba's jealousy. It was explained to them that it would be better for them to be trained separate to unlock their full potentials.
Time would move on, during the chunin exams both boys would face off and put full effort into it. Naruto would be victorious leaving kiba proud.
The third would be killed, the fourth would be found by naruto, the akatsuki would begin their hunt and Sasuke would run away. With much effort from naruto to stop him and save a fellow ninja that never had a kiba.

Naruto would then leave the village with Jiraiya, and would begin his training. But where we continue our story is in his return.
