(Jade Thirlwall)
When I woke of this morning to an empty room I almost started to panic, but then I remember that Danielle told me that she was going home for the weekend. Even though it is Friday I still have one morning class at 10:00. So I finally get out of bed and start to get ready. After I finish my morning routine I grab my keys and head out the door and head across campus for class. When I get there the professor isn't there yet, and if he doesn't show up within fifteen minutes all of us can leave. I sit there and I slowly watch as the minutes go by, and when it is finally fifteen after all the students get up and head out the door happy that their class had been canceled. I thought that I would just head back to the flat and watch Netflix the rest of the day.
When I finally get back to my flat my phone starts to ring. I look at the caller I.D and I see that the call is from my mum.
"Hey, mum is everything all right at home?" I asked worried that something might have happen while I was away.
"No of course not I was just wondering if you were coming home this weekend, because I want to repair the kitchen and I wanted to know if you wanted to help me."
"Well my only class for the day was canceled, so I guess I could come home early and help you."
"That would be wonderful, honey. I'm going the hang up now so I can start painting, but I will see you in a couple of hours. I love you Jade."
"I love you too, mum." I then hear click meaning the call has been ended.
Well there go my plans for being lazy today. I grab my stuff and head down to my car. The drive home to South Shields wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it was still a little over three hours. When I get home I open the door to see my mum blasting music while paint the kitchen walls. I walk over to the radio and turn it down a bit, so neither of us go deaf. When my mum notices that the music is not as loud she turns around to face me.
"Oh, good you got me just in time. Can you go to the store to get my more paint I'm almost out?"
"Yeah, I'll be back in a few minutes. I love you."
"Love you too, honey."
I go back out to my car and head off toward the paint store in town. When I get there I start looking through the shelves until I found the right color. When I looked up over the top of the shelf I saw someone I thought I would never see again. I make my way over to where she is standing. Her back is to me, but that doesn't matter I could never forget.
"Perrie?" My voice is shaky and I can feel the nervousness running through my veins, and then she turns to face me.
"Jade." I look straight into her ocean blue eyes and I can almost remember them on someone else, but that is impossible because Perrie's eyes are one of a kind.
"I didn't know you were back in South Shields." My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest with every word.
"Ummm, yeah I'm actually going to stay for a couple of months. I heard from my mum that you at Uni?"
"Yeah, it's great I can't complain. Anyways I should probably get going I have to get this paint home to my mum. She decided to paint the kitchen again. Umm... I guess I'll see you around." I start walking out the doors of the paint shop.
"Wait, Jade, wait!" I turn around to see Perrie running towards me with paint in her hands.
"If it's not to much I ask could I get you number?"
"Of course let my see your phone." She hands my her phone and I type my number in.
"I'll see you around Edwards."
"Okay, bye Thirlwall."
I get into my car and I watch her drive off, and all I can do is sit there with the biggest smile. When I finally get home my mum I sitting at the table reading.
"Honey go get changed we are going to the Edwards's house for dinner. Oh, did you know that Perrie is home?"
"Actually I just saw her at the store." I turn to head upstairs to my room, and then I Theo myself down into my bed. What a day it had been, and now I can only imagine what dinner will be like.Wow, it has been four months and most of you have probably given up hope that I would ever return, but I promise to do better. School is finally over and I plan to finish this story over the summer. I am so so so so so SORRY for not giving you guys any content over the past four months.
