(Perrie Edwards)
The rest of the week went by fast, and today is Friday which I purposely scheduled so that I would have any classes today. I didn't want classes on Fridays because it gave me and extra day to see my mum, and just relax at home and be myself for once. It has become harder and harder to keep my secret from Jade. There are some days that I want to tell her, but others I think I'm doing the best for her. I don't want to ruin her life because she got mixed up in mine. The spotlight and the people can be hard to handle sometimes.
I wake up early to get all of my stuff together, and pack some of my school stuff that I plan on doing over the weekend. I look over at Jade's sleeping form, and all I can think about is how peaceful she looks. Last night I told her that I was going home for the weekend she said she will probably stay here all weekend. I felt bad for her but she said that Jesy doesn't have Friday classes either, so they will probably spend the weekend together.
I head out the door of the flat, and I start down the stairs. When I get out the front door of the building I head to my car. I put al of my stuff in the back seat, and then I climb into the drivers side. I start the car, and make my way off of campus unto the highway. After a few minutes of silence I turn on the radio, and when the music hits my ears I can't help but sing along. While singing the lyrics I realize that they summarize my feelings for Jade perfectly, and then just like that my mind drifts of the the brunette that I left behind.
After a few hours of driving I finally arrive in South Shields, and when I pull up to my mum's house I can see her waiting on the front porch for me. I park on the side of the road, and I get all of my stuff out of the car before making my way to the front of the house. I walk up to my mum, and I drop everything at her feet and engulf her in a hug.
"I missed you mum," I said while still hug tightly as if she will disappear any second.
"I missed you, too. Now that formalities are out of the way how about you bring your stuff inside, and then we talk about how University life is treating you." I pick all of my stuff up, and I head into the house after her. I go up to my room, which hasn't changed since I was twelve, and I set my stuff down on the twin sized bed. I make my way back downstairs to find a cup of tea for me sitting on the dinning room table across from my mum.
"So let's start off by you telling me who your roommate is, and if you like her or not." She looks at me with a knowing smirk on her face, which confuses my because what could she possibly know already.
"Um... my roommate is Jade Thirlwall."
"Yes, I already know that, so how about you answer my second question. Do you fancy her?" Now I know exactly why she was smirking earlier.
"Mum, how do you know that Jade is my roommate?"
"Answer y question, and then and only then will I answer yours." It is obvious to me where I got my stubbornness from.
"Uuuummmm...yesifancyjade." The words came out of my mouth so fast that I'm convince my mum couldn't understand.
"What was that dear? Could you repeat it for me please?" She smirked at me again, so I know that she did actually hear me correctly the first time.
"I said, Yes I fancy Jade Thirlwall. Happy now, mum?" I blush a little under my mum's satisfied look because of my answer.
"Now to answer your question from before the reason I know why is because Jade's mum and I still talk you know. So one day she was telling me about Jade's roommate, and she told me that her name was Danielle Worth and then I remember that you are using that as your fake name. I then put two and two together, and I was able to figure it all out."
"So why did you want to know if I fancied Jade or not?" It's times like these that I honestly believe my mum knows all.
"You just seemed happier like you usually do when you meet someone."
My mum needed the conversation there, and I go up to my room. I decided it was time to do some redecorate g since I will be staying for a little while longer, and the princess pink walls are not going to cut it. I thought about it for a while before choosing a blue-gray color for the walls, but now I have to go to the store to by some. I tell myself that I will be fine without my disguise, and I head down stairs.
"Mum, I'm heading to the store do you need me to get anything?"
"No, honey." With that I head out the door to my car, and I start toward the store.
I look around before finally finding the paint color that I wanted along with a few other things for my room. I needed up getting a lot more things than I originally planned to get. I walk out the door of the shop to my car that was parked on the street. I through all of the stuff for my room in the back, but right before I get in I hear a voice.
"Perrie?" I turn to the sound of the voice, and I am met with a wonderful surprise.
"Jade."Plot twist! Anyways I know this chapter was shorter than the others, and it was written in just Perrie's POV. Also keeping reading a voting, because it gives my joy and happiness. I promise the next one will be longer, and in both points of view. I'm excited for the next chapter for lots of reasons.
Right now Perrie is at home think that Jade is still on campus, but little dose she know that Jade came home also. How will Jade react to Perrie being home, and how will Perrie cover her tracts of have two live one in the spotlight and one as a roommate? Will one life trip the other cause it the whole thing to fall apart. Until next time...
Lots of love,
-H
