(Jade Thirlwall)
Two weeks went by extremely fast, and I'm now standing in front of the main building on campus. I pull out the map of campus I was given during orientation along with other papers such as my roommate's name, what building my flat is in, and my class schedule. I locate where my dorm building is on the map, and I start to slowly lug my baggage toward the building. During the agonizing walk to my flat all I can think about is my mum. I know that she gave me her blessing, but I can't help but think that she is disappointed that I just left her all alone. Then the next thing that runs through my mind in my roommate. Will this Danielle Worth be kind, will she like me, what does she look like, and how will she act around me when she finds out about my sexuality. These were all important questions because I can't just switch flats with things don't work out and we don't become friends. I finally make it to my flat, and I pull out the key and unlock the door. I swing the door open, and I give a quick look around be fore putting all of my bags inside. The room was still bare, so my guess is that my roommate hasn't been here yet, which means I get first pick as to which side I want. I end up throwing all of my stuff on the left side of the room before ringing Jesy.
"Hey Jadey, have you settled in to your flat yet?" Jesy said as soon as she answered the phone.
"Yeah, but it took me forever to get all of my stuff across campus by myself. Oh, how I wish I had a best friend who loved me enough to help, but no such luck." I giggled into the phone, and I could hear her sigh on the other end.
"Shut it! You know I would have help you if I didn't have to get my stuff into my flat as well. Oh, have you met your roommate yet? I have met mine and she is horrid, which I promise is an understatement. She walked into the flat after me and demanded that I move all my stuff to the other side, because I was apparently on her side. Can you believe it? I wanted to give her a piece of my mind, but I decided to just smile and obey." Her story causes he to start to worry, because now all I can think is that my roommate could be the same way. All I can do is pray that I will get at least a tolerable roommate.
"Jade, are you still there?" Jesy's words shake me from my day dream about what my roommate could be like.
"Yes I'm still here, and no I have yet to met my roommate. So instead of me waiting around her for her to show up and look like a creep do you want to go for some coffee?" I ask hoping to waste some time since I'm already unpacked.
"Yeah, I'll meet you in five minutes in the main courtyard, and then we can walk from there."
"Yeah, that will work. Bye!"
"Bye!"
I hang up the phone and grab my coat off of my bed, and I walk out the door. I start down the stairs of the building, and on my way down I pass a buetiful girl with brown hair and bright blue eyes that are hidden behind her glasses. I want to turn around and give her another look, but I know that will be a little creepy. All I can do is hope that I will see here again.(Perrie Edwards)
"Mum, you didn't have to come with me," I said to my mom as I took my bags out of her hands.
"What, it's not everyday that your megastar daughter starts Uni. You think that I would miss out on this I have already missed out on a lot." She make me feel guilty every time she brings up the fact that we lost contact, and ever time she leaves me with nothing to say and w stand in silence.
"I think I can take it from here. I love you, and I promise to be home very weekend." I kiss her cheek, and I turn to walk into my flat building.
"I love you to my Pezza, and I will miss you so much. Also I will not care if you want to bring anyone home by the way." I laugh at her not so subtle way of telling me to stop being okay with being single. I mean I don't care about being single or not, and if I happen to meet the right guy or girl and fall for them then that's okay, too
"Whatever you say mum," I yell over my shoulder before entering my flat building. I start to lug my bags up that starts with ease since I really didn't need that much stuff since I will be going home on weekends. On my way up I pass a girl with brown hair. I didn't get a chance to see her face, but I didn't need to see her face to know that she is beautiful. I wanted to turn around and give her another look, but I didn't want to look crazy. So I just hoped that I will see her around campus.
After seven flights of stairs I finally reach my flat, and when I open the door I can see that my roommate has already been there. She took the left side of the room, which I was glad about because I wanted the right side. I start to unpack when my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller I.D, and saw that it was Parker calling me. I really didn't want to deal with him right this minute, so I let it ring through and continued unpacking. After I was done I decided to explore the University's campus, and figure out where my class will be tomorrow . I was also hoping that by the time I get back my room at will be back also, so then I can introduce myself. I didn't look at my roommates name ahead of time mostly because I like surprise. I'm really hoping that she is not a dreadful human-being, because that would make my six months of freedom horrible.Sorry for the four day late update. I hat myself for not updating on time, because I hate it when its the other way around for me. So I will try my best to not keep you guys waiting. I hope that everyone is enjoying it so far. I know it's going kind of fast, but at the same time very slow due to the fact the Jade and Perrie haven't truly met yet. But I promise it will be worth the wait. Hopefully! Also shoutout to @mixer0008 for voting on my story even though it's not the best. Thanks, love!
Lots of love,
H
