Annabell's POV
I screamed as her snake curled around me. The scales made my skin crawl.
"Running is useless!" Medusa snapped.
"I won't fall to madness while I'm in your hands, Medusa!" I growled.
She laughed, and the snake started suffocating me.
"You think I'm giving you a choice? That's adorable!" She cackled.
Damn it! Why can't I fight back?

Justin's POV
"Hold on, Justin. We have to create a plan before we charge into Medusa's hideout." Spirit said, laying his hand on my shoulder.
I smacked it away. "You don't get it, do you? This isn't some child we're saving, Spirit! Annabell is mine, and the Witch took her from me! I am getting her back even if it kills me!"
"We all know how you feel about this, Justin. Listen to Spirit. If we are going to save Annabell, we have to work together and devise a plan." Marie told me.
"What is with all of you? If it was one of the students in Medusa's hands, you would be rushing over there without a second thought. What makes Annabell so different?" I snapped.
"Annabell is a strong Weapon as well as a skilled Meister. She can handle herself better than the students here." Spirit explained.
"It feels like Medusa stuck her hand in my chest and ripped out my heart." I whispered, placing my hand over my heart. "And I want it back."
"Don't worry, Justin. We'll get her back." Marie hugged me.
I broke down and shattered to a thousand pieces. Tears rolled down my cheeks.
