Before I could even ponder my next plan for escape my mind started to dwindle as my vision blured leaving me in a void of blackness. My mind still sparked with life, my conscious not tired or stopping like how my senses had. What's going on? Is all I could think. Did I faint? Get knocked out? I started to internally panic to myself, not wanting to leave my body unconscious with them... then all my thoughts suddenly cut out.
A sharp frigidness stabbed my frail bones, bringing my mind back from an uneasy slumber. Slowly opening my eyes, I was bundled up in a thick blanket, warmth flooded across my skin, the uneasiness toxic slosh increasing in the pit of my stomach. Something isn't right. Proping myself up agianst the plain pillows of snow, I vaguely reconginised my surroundings. It was the room that onni proclaimed was mine. Even though I'd clearly been sleeping, fatigue still hung off me. Am I sick? Rubbing at my eyes, I tried to just calm my wavering breaths of fear.
"You'll find out soon enough..." Finley's words had echoed through my mind, making my spine shiver in fear. Forcing myself to lay back down, I stared up at the cieling to try and relax my tattered mind. The clicking of the door soon disturbed my peace. My eyed darted to the doorway as Leo walked in, a bright coloured plastic tray poised in one hand and the other opening the door wide so he can enter. "You're awake" he examined with a faint smile brought up
to his lips "I got you some food, assuming you're probably hungry after.." he didn't plan on finishing his sentence, sitting up I stared at him then glanced at the food he had on the bright platter. Placing the tray on my lap, he pulled over a nearby stool. My eyes lingered down to the food my stomach yearning for something to fill the void, yet I wasn't that trusting to just have some of this.... Looked to be a type of pasta and sauce. It could be poisoned or drugged. Leo seemed to notice my hesitation as he leaned over and took a mouthful with the fork he ate it keeping eye contact with me the entire time. "Its actually quite good your lucky Finley made it instead of Onni " placing the fork down, I picked it back up in secounds and started scoffing the pasta like a rabbid stray, at first it couldn't taste anything yet my stomach did start to feel as if it was slowly getting more full after a minute or two, the flavor strangly hit. It did taste nice yet the sudden burst of flavor made me almost certain I was ill. My senses seemed to be way off compared to normal.Leo waited patiently until I had finished, then took the tray on my lap "You should come out and show the others you're ok... they were worried when you suddenly passed out on us" Leo recommended "Onni might even get you a hot drink if you hurry" leaving I glanced around the almost barren room once more. three doors connected to the room, one of course being the one Leo left from. Escaping my cover fortress I shuffled over to the nearest door curiously swinging it open I was met with quite a futuristic bathroom? Making my way to the next door I pushed it open slowly to find a closet my bag neatly placed on one of the shelves. My mind clicked shoving my hand in the bag I cherished the moment I felt the rectangular object that was my phone. Yanking it out I quickly retreated to the bathroom and locked the door. Turning it on, I loathed the agonizing wait of the load screen as I lent against the sink. Hastily clicking on my messages, I was greeted with worry.
"Did you get out? Are you ok? it's been a day now, I'm beginning to worry.... Please tell me you're ok" the list of worry carried on my heart aching to know I worried them so badly "I'm ok for now" I typed frantically, then starting to type out an explanation of what had happened. Before I could send the lengthy paragraph "thank goodness I was so worried" they replied. Sending the paragraph I realised they would probably get suspicious soon if I didn't come out of 'my room' "I need to go before they find out, I love you " before I could get a reply to my paragraph and hasty goodbye I shut the phone rushed out the bathroom and jammed it inside my pillow.
