✿ Chapter 5 ✿

The next morning was quite relaxing. The weather was good today. The sun shined and the sky is really blue.

As always, you came out of your room to go downstairs, but you stopped by Suho's door because you heard someone else in his room, too.

* The conversation *

"Hyung, you can't act like this to her the whole time, don't you realize that she's sad because of you?"

"Listen Kai, I have my own reasons. I act like this for her own good."

"Suho...please tell me the truth. Why do you always come home totally beaten up?"

You stood by the door while you suddenly felt a hand on your shoulder.
"It isn't polite to eavesdrop others' conversations Y/N." Said Lay.
"Y-yeah, I'm sorry." You apologized and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Ughh...now I still don't know what Suho is hiding the whole time..."

* Kai's POV *

"So that's why you acted like that the whole time...okay, I get it."

You left the room and went downstairs.

You kept looking at Y/N, deep in thoughts about what Suho told you a while ago.

"So, her ex, his name was Jacob I think, was drunk and abused Y/N, he's actually an old friend of Suho hyung, so he asked Suho to kidnap her and wait for him to come and kill her, maybe to do some other stuff too..., so that night when Suho was away, a guy came in with a knife and it was that Jacob guy. When he went home, to Suho, he beat him up because Suho hyung didn't tell him that he lived with us. So a while ago Suho said that he agreed to Jacob's plan, but when he saw Y/N, I think he also got feelings for her...arghh, it seems like everyone in this house has feelings for her!"

"Are you okay Kai? You're dozing off." Said Kris. "Oh, I'm alright." You replied.

* Your POV *

"Maybe I should do something for Suho instead of ignoring him all day...I should buy something for him! But what...?"

You went to your room to think about something you could buy for Suho. But before you reached your door, you got a text message.

From: ex-boyfriend

Hi Y/N, long time no see, unfortunately I lost my gun, so that's why I came to kill you with a knife. But don't worry, I ordered a new gun, so he's coming too next time.

See u babe xxx

You threw your phone through the hallway, fortunately it was not broken.
You were so scared that you were trembling.

"Y/N! What happened? I heard something falling a while ago!" Kai came out of his room.

"Kai...that was my phone, but I'm so scared..."

He picked up your phone and asked permission to read your texts with Jacob. You agreed.

"Oh my god Y/N...don't worry, I'm here, and I will protect you forever." He hugged you thight.

"SUHO HYUNG!" He called for Suho to discuss this in his room.

"What is i- oh...are you okay Y/N..?"

"Look at this text hyung, that Jacob guy is totally out of his mind." Kai showed him the text.

"Let's go downstairs, I'm going to tell this to everyone, I'm done with this." Said Suho sternly.

Everyone's jaw dropped. Until Chen spoke: "Who the hell would actually kill Y/N? Such a sweet girl like her doesn't deserve this.." Everyone agreed.

"Guys, we have to tell this to the police. We never know if Jacob has many other friends who are planning to help him." Said Kyungsoo.

"Maybe we can make a sort of schedule. Every day, someone else is going to be Y/N's guardian for that day while the others are going to collect weapons and doing some research." Suggested Chanyeol.

"Yeah that's a good idea, someone has to watch over Y/N everyday incase something happens." Said Baekhyun.

"Let's do it in the order of our jersey numbers. That means that we're starting tomorrow, monday, with Kris." Added Chanyeol.

Everyone agreed and that's when their new mission started.
