✿ Chapter 6 - Kris' Day ✿

*beep beep beep beep*

8:30 am.

"Y/N, breakfast is ready!" You heard a low voice shouting from downstairs.

"I'm coming Kris."

"It seems like we are the only two in this house." You said while slowly looking around.

"Yeah, everyone is out to buy stuff and search for information, it'll be like this everyday from now on."

You nodded.

It was a bit awkward with you and Kris alone because you never really talked to him. But then you decided to break the silence.

"So...what are we going to do today?"

"Umm...let's paint!"

You laughed a little and nodded in agreement.

"Let's draw the first thing that you're thinking about." Said Kris while dipping his paintbrush into some paint.

You two started drawing and you began with a square, a triangle and little rectangulars. Then you added all of the details. Once you finished the drawing, you started to paint everything in nice colours.

"I'm done." Said Kris after a while.

You looked up and smiled. "I just finished too."

"Let's reveal our paintings in 1...2...3!"

"Woahh..." Kris' eyes widened while you were trying to hold your laugh.

"It...turned out pretty good Kris." You gave him a smile.

"You are not just saying this right?" He said while looking at his crocodile.

"No I'm not, I see that you did your best, that's the most important thing." You said.

He smiled. "Thanks Y/N. But wow, your painting is really pretty...can you explain it?"

"So...this is my parents' house, I added trees on fire in the background while it was raining by my parents, I painted snow as well, um, here are also birds that are flying, I added a dead flower and a healthy flower next to each other, here you can see stars in the sky and here I drew an earthquake. In this corner you can see the lightningbolts and the wind is blowing really hard, here you can see a clock floating through a teleportation portal. Yeah I know, it doesn't make sense, sorry." You apologised quickly.

"No, no...it's okay, really! And it's pretty too." Said Kris. "But...why did you decide to draw all of these things?" He asked curiously.

"Well, actually, my parents always told me a story before bed when I was little, and it was always the same story about some boys with superpowers,...and a tree or something. They told me it was a real story but I never believed it haha, I was 7 years old back then."

Kris looked at you in shock.

"Where do your parents got that story from?"

"Um, I don't know, I thought they just made it up. But by the way, why are you interested in a fairytale?" You laughed a little.

"Oh, I don't know, I was just curious because it all sounded really realistic..."

Before going to bed, you two watched a movie and talked for a while. Tomorrow, it's Suho's turn!
