✿ Chapter 11 - D.O.'s Day ✿

*next morning*

You could already smell the food Kyungsoo made for you downstairs. You got up and went to the kitchen.

"Goodmorning Kyungsoo!" 

"Goodmorning Y/N, did you sleep well tonight?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes, what are you making by the way?"

"It doesn't really have a name, but it's a recipe my grandmother teached me."

"Wow...it smells amazing!" You claimed.

You and Kyungsoo were eating breakfast and you grabbed a waterbottle from the refrigerator.

"Ngggg.."

"Everything okay Y/N?" He said while turning around.

"Yeah..I just..can't open this.." You said, a bit embarassed because now it looks like you are hella weak.

He giggled. 

"Hehe, you could've just ask me to open it, my power isn't strength for nothing!"

You took a sip from your waterbottle.

"You know...I want to have a superpower too..." You pouted.

"You're cute when you pout."

"W-What?" You blushed.

"Hmm? Oh, did I say that out loud? Oops." He said while holding back a smile.

"Anyways, what kind of superpower do you want to have then?" He quickly added to avoid awkwardness.

You thought for a while.

"Hmm...maybe the ability to read people's minds?"

"That's kinda creepy...people wouldn't have their own privacy anymore." Kyungsoo said.

"True, but I can help people with their problems when they don't want to say it out loud. And it's not that I'm going to expose all of their secrets."

"We'll see if we can work on that." He shoved some food into his mouth.

"Is it possible to have superpowers as a human?"

"I don't know, but we'll try, maybe you have a little bit of non-human blood."

You guys went to Suho's workspace to collect some books about superpowers.

"Okay Y/N, I will think of a number and you have to guess which number I'm thinking of."

"Okay." You stared into his eyes, which was a bit awkward because you were a shy girl who rarely makes eyecontact.

"Is it 88?" You asked.

"No, maybe we have to pick another category, like colors!"

"Okay..but honestly, I don't think this will work out.."

He grabbed both of your cheeks.

"Don't say that Y/N. I will help you until the end. Don't give up, okay?"

"I-i won't.."

"Okay, I have a color in mind, try to read my eyes, eyes are the window to your soul."

"Okay..."

You both looked at each other for a good 2 minutes.

"You aren't thinking of any color..."

He looked at you with open eyes.

"C-correct.."

"So that means it works!" You claimed happily.

"But can you guess specificly what I'm thinking about now?" 

"Uhh..." You saw that his pupils were growing bigger. "Is...is it me?"

"H-how did you know?" He scratched the back of his neck.

"Your pupils grew bigger, that happens when you look at a person you like."

He was silent for a second.

"But pupils also does grow bigger when it's dark, and it's pretty dark in here."

You got up.

"Were are you going?" He followed you with his eyes.

You didn't say anything and turned on the lights. 

You ran back and looked right into his eyes. Your face was about 4 inches/10cm away from his face.

"See? Your pupils are big again, and it's not even dark in here." You giggled at his shyness.

He sighed and smiled.

"Okay, you're right, I like you."

You just realized how awkward this situation was. Kyungsoo just confessed his love to you but you are just laughing it off.

You cleared your throat.

"Let's test this superpower again."

"Now I have an animal in mind."

You looked again in his eyes, his pupils as big as marbles.

"You are thinking of... a penguïn?" You guessed.

"That's right! How did you know?" He asked surprised.

"I don't even know, I just can see it I guess."

"Do I have the superpower now?" You asked.

"Actually you have more than one superpower." He smirked lightly.

"W-what?" You raised an eyebrow.

"The ability to make people fall for you."
