I woke up surrounded by dim lights and beeping machines with a needle in my arm. When I looked to the side of me, I made eye contact with my best friend. I nearly gasped and sat up but I figured it wouldn't be the best idea due to my headache.

She smiled. "Hey, bitch! You're up!"

"Well I'm at least alive." I shrugged. The scent of daisies and roses filled my nose before I looked to my left to see three bouquets and balloons.

"Your dad felt bad for kicking you out. And your sister felt bad for just watching it happen," Becky said. "So they got those for you. One of those bouquets is from me and the daisies are from Dylan and Juan and the rest of the crew. You know they're damn near broke so they got what they could afford."

I chuckled and nodded. "It's okay. Daisies are my favorite flowers honestly."

She rolled her eyes. "Which is crazy to me! Your boujee ass likes daisies over any other flower. Don't make any sense." She shook her head, laughing.

I laughed with her then thought. "Wait! Where's Carlisle?" I began to sit up. "They need to find him! He's the reason-"

Becky lead me to lay back down. "Girl, calm down," she said. "They got him and they're gonna lock him up as soon as possible." She rolled her eyes. "He's not dead though, despite the shoe that was nearly in his throat."

I sighed heavily in relief. "Good... good that he was caught. I ran my fingers through my curls. "I just can't believe that he's the actual killer and Michael is gone because of it. And the reasons he told me were so elementary and it didn't seem like something that someone would kill someone over."

"What are you talking about, Ti? If David cheated on me with you, I'd kill him then frame you for it too!"

It got silent as I looked at her like yeah you're definitely a Fassbender. After a few seconds of the silence, we burst into laughter.

Becky shook her head. "I'm kidding. I knew you'd never do that."

"I can't do jocks. The egos turn me off."

"But you married my dad. That's enough ego." She rolled her eyes at me again.

"Ehh," I shrugged. "Not like you'd think. It was just a lot of 'do this because I'm capable of more than what you think I am,' which was a lie for both of us."

We laughed again and again until our laughter turned into tears. I reached up to catch them as they fell from my cheek. "I feel horrible," I confused. "I feel like it's all my fault."

She shook her head. "This whole situation in itself isn't your fault, Tia. The fact that you're pregnant and married, I guess, is your fault." She chuckled.

I chuckled with her and sighed. "Right."

After a few minutes, the doctor let in a tall, suited man with long salt and pepper hair. He somewhat resembled Mr. Sheffield from the Nanny. He was just a little older and the white streak was nonexistent. Tragic.

"Miss Hiddleston?" He looked at me with a smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm detective Marshall. I would like to ask you a few questions."

I sighed and nodded. "Ask away.."
