I'm basically basing this off of my school since most of my internet friends don't understand OUR LINGO so heck I'm gonna do that with nozoeli so LETS GET IT U WEEBS

nozomi's POV

Today was the day I arrived at this very small and old school building, it's my freshman year so I don't think it'll be too bad. as soon as I walk in there are people walking around looking very depressed but whenever they saw a friend of some sort they would shout " YO HOW WE DOIN BUD" or "HOW WE SONTIN MY GUY" I don't understand what's happening but I had to go to my period A/B class which I didn't understand since that's a WHOLE new system to me. I was to go to room 147 mrs C.Burkes class apparently there are 2 of them and different in many ways. I arrived there and saw those fidget spinner things flying around and everyone looking at me weirdly, it was the middle of second semester so i was a little late but that's okay. five minutes before the bell rang I decided to find an empty seat and a blonde and two other people came in with a bunch of foods in their hands and sugared drinks of some sort and the blonde walked up to where I was sitting and said "uuuuHh I believe that's my seat bud there's an open one right behind me". I got up and sat in the desk behind her and she opened a bag of powdered donuts and started to eat, then mrs Burke walked in and said "HEY NO SUGARED DRINKS IN CLASS" the blonde said, "you get em mrs B" and laughed with the rest of the really big class.
she put on CNN news and everyone was still really loud and obnoxious and didn't even care that I was in the room "HUSH" she said and then after that the blonde said "I doubt it" mrs Burke gave her a death stare and she laughed.

after a half hour of her showing me the basics of her class break started at 8:56 and everyone ran out except for the blonde sitting in front of me, "so how we doin bud where you from?" I quietly replied, "well I've been moving around a lot because of my parents work", "I doubt it" she said. "why do you doubt that? why does everyone say stuff like that here?" she patted my shoulder, "listen if you want to somewhat fit in this school you gotta go with the lingo here we are up in the northeast where there's lots of mountains and wannabe hicks here if you need any help walking around just ask". she smiled and so did I, she's the first person to ACTUALLY help me around. break ended and we continued to work.

after a long day of the blonde always reaching out and giving handshakes to people and long classes I decided to walk home since my house was pretty close by, behind me was the blonde who's name I never asked because we never reached that subject. "YOOSH BUD WAIT UP" I stood there and she ran towards me, "yo whats your number you seem like a really nice gal and you don't deserve to be in a depressing place like this AND ALSO what is your name?" I started writing my number on a slip of paper, "Nozomi Tojo how about you?" "Eli Ayase!" she reached out her hand and gave me a handshake, I gave her the paper and she ran off.

HOW WE SONTIN YO was that okay bc I feel like adding another 2 or 3 parts what do y'all think I really had fun and I know this is a one shot book but I'll geT AROUND TO MY IDEAS IM JUST RLY LAZY AND BUSY
