Chapter 34: Fun Day

Aiden, Josh, Sally, and I all arrived at Aiden and Josh's work which was at the hospital. We went into the break room where everyone changes, of course the guys and girls room were seperated. Josh pulled off his shirt and I saw his 4 pack of abs, I looked down and Aiden pulled off his shirt. Sally nudged me and she pointed at Aiden. I saw his 6 pack of abs and almost fainted. 

Aiden looked over to me and winked causing me to blush, I turned around and rubbed my forehead. I looked back to see the guys done changing and walking towards Sally and I. Josh and Sally went to do whatever nurses do and I followed Aiden who was also a nurse. 

"Hey Kenny!" Aiden greeted the boy who was in a cage type room. He had lung cancer and couldn't risk getting sick or anything. "Does he know?" I whispered to Aiden and he nodded. "Time to take some blood?" Kenny asked and Aiden nodded. Kenny sat in front of two white gloves that were connected to the glass. 

Aiden put his hands into the gloves and grobbed a needle/shot thing to take blood from Kenny. I saw the blood go into the glass tube and I looked away seeing nothing but darkness. "Summer." Aiden said causing me to turn around. Kenny saw me and I shook my head starting to get my vision back.

"Sorry Aiden." I apologized looking down. Aiden lifted my chin and shook his head smiling. "You have more control then I do and I'm 260 years old." I giggled and looked at Kenny. "Let me feed you Summer." He offered and I shook my head saying, "It's okay Kenny." he shook his head and Aiden looked at me.

"Fine." I gave in and Kenny smiled. I was pretty hungry to be honest, Aiden took more blood from Kenny and I looked at him as he gave me the glass tube. Aiden nodded and I took the lid off drinking the red liquid in the container. I gave Aiden the vial and smiled at Kenny, "Thank you Kenny." I thanked him and he smiled nodding a bit.

Aiden and I left Kenny's personal cage room and went to the next patient. To be honest I'm kind of glad I get to be with Aiden for the rest of the day, he's really cool. We moved from patient to patient until we had a lunch break. "So.." I said as we sat down. 

"Look... I know what you did to Crystal.." I said breaking the silence. Aiden looked at me quickly and I smiled, "It's okay. She doesn't really care. But she turned me and my.. Ex boyfriend. I'm just worried what will happen if I one day lose that control I have." I started to tear up a bit.

Aiden lifted my chin up and wiped the tears away, "It's okay... I won't let that happen." I smiled and thanked him. I saw Josh and Sally come towards us and I cleared my throat. "Hey guys.." Josh said awkwardly. I waved and looked down.

Soon the day at the hospital was over and we got to finally go home at 6 pm. Once I walked through that door I felt myself being restrained, "Um guys?" I asked and they looked at me. Josh face palmed himself and said, "Summer please, come in." I smiled and walked inside. I guess now that I fed live means I'm a real vampire now.

It's been an hour or 2 since everyone got home and I could smell blood coming from downstairs. I walked down and saw Josh and Sally sitting on the couch watching TV. I walked down to the basement where Aiden's room was and saw Aiden consuming blood from a bag.

I cleared my throat indicating that I was in the room and Aiden looked up. He wiped his mouth and I saw another blood bag next to him. I sat on his bed next to him and grabbed the blood bag. I sank my fangs into the bag letting the thick creamy blood enter my mouth and go down my throat.

Aiden and I finished our dinner and I wiped my mouth along with him. "Thanks for sharing." I thanked Aiden. He smiled and his dimples started to show perfectly. "Thanks for coming down." He said thanking me. I giggled and we shared a hug, "Now stand and give me a real hug." Aiden said chuckling.

I stood up and wrapped my arms around Aiden's neck smiling. He wrapped his arms around my lower back and pulled me closer to him. We stayed like this for a while until we heard someone open his door. We pulled away and stood there awkwardly as we saw Josh.

"Um Nora's here. Mind going out somewhere along with Sally too?" Josh asked and I looked at Aiden. He nodded and I said, "Wait let me get changed." I smiled and Aiden laughed a bit. 

I got dressed in a tight short black dress with high boots and brushed out my long straight ombre hair. I put on some make up and put on a short black leather jacket. I walked downstairs and saw Josh and Aiden look at me. I saw a blonde girl on the couch looking at me too.

"Hi, I'm Nora." The blonde girl said smiling extending her arm. I shook her hand saying, "Hi, I'm Summer." After our goodbyes Aiden, Sally and I all left. "So where are we going Aiden?" I asked but he smiled and kept walking.

We arrived at a small bar and I looked at Aiden. We walked inside and Sally said she'll be at some lake across town. Aiden and I took a couple shots and an old song came on. Aiden grabbed my hand and we started dancing to the song laughing and giggling. It was really fun. (Pic of Sally on the side.)
