In a few seconds I heard his soft formal voice echos from the phone,"hell9? (Y/n) is that y9u?"
You quietly listened to his beautiful voice, completely forgetting to answer back,"(Y/n) y9u kn9w it's extremely triggering when y9u call me and n9t say anything" he says sternly which made you giggle a little,"sorry kanny, I just love listening to your voice" you said sweetly, oh gog Kankri is thankful he's speaking to you threw the phone and not in person or you would see his cherry red face.
"9-9h....a-anyways, what seems to 6e the pr96lem?"
"well I only have 3 more days Kanny...." he went silent, tears threatening to stream down his grey cheeks.

Kankri blushed deeply, a few red tears already rolling down his cheeks,'she's flushed f9r me?' he thought.

"Kanny..."
"Yes (y/n)?..."
"I'm scared...."

"Kanny can you help me sleep?..."

"can you sing me to sleep?"

"thank you...." I softly close my eyes as I hear my new matesprites beautiful voice begin to sing.
He begins singing the song "Run to you"
I begin falling asleep.
Right as he enters the room I fall asleep, he smiles as he sings and hums the rest of the song to me.
"I'll run run to you"
He holds my hand gently and softly kisses my plump lips as he sits down in a chair and lays his head on the hospital bed while still holding my hand.
Sadly in the morning his precious (y/n) was no longer with him.
He'll never forget her, replace her, nothing, he will do everything in life that he can to make her proud, from that day forward he dedicated his life to making (y/n) proud of him.
