Your name is (Y/n) (m/n) (l/n), you met Karkat and Kankri when you were 10 years old.
You are now 19.
They both know that your mother of cancer but they don't know your suffering from cancer too, a certain cancer called leukemia, Acute leukemia, you've been going to get chemo and surgery without them knowing, you've been keeping it a secret from everyone for one full year, the only person that knows of this is (b/n), you were on the way home from the hospital but as you arrive you see Karkat and Kankri at the door with (b/n).

Your pov/

"A light in the room
It was you who was standing there
Tried it was true "

I arrived back home from the hospital, as I step foot out of my car I look up to the front door to see Karkat Kankri and (b/n) standing there, (b/n) looking at me with an apologetic look in their eyes, Karkat looking even more pissed then usual and Kankri seems to be sadden by something, the first thought that comes to your mind is that....(b/n) told them what's wrong with you.

"As your glance met my stare.
But your heart drifted off

I slowly get out and close the car door, I hesitantly make my way to the group, (b/n) mouths I'm sorry to me and quickly leaves back inside to their bedroom.

I look over at Karkat and then Kankri, Kankri then speaks up as Karkat opens the door,"we need t9 talk t9 y9u in the living r99m f9r imp9rtant matters" he speaks softly, trying to be as calm as possible.

"b-but I have something I need to do, I'm really busy right now" I reply back, Karkat rolls his eyes,"THAT'S BULLSHIT, NOW GET IN THE FUCKING HOUSE AND SIT IN THE GODDAMN LIVING ROOM" He's even louder now so of course something has really pissed him off, Kankri cringes a little and looks at Karkat,"y9u sh9uldn't use such ru-" he stops speaking as Karkat gives him the 'do you really think it's an appropriate time for lectures' look.

I then walk inside with the two of them following me to the living room, we all sit down while I just stare into my lap while I sense the two Vantas staring at me.

Kankri let's out a small sigh, being the first one to speak up, and of course putting out his hash tag warnings,"...trigger warning: #anger #depression #personalquestions....(y/n)....why didn't y9u tell us you had Cancer?"

I flinched at the word Cancer, why did it have to be cancer especially with the fact there's two cancer signed boys on each side of you.

You wondered how they felt about it, Being Cancer sign, cancer something that kills humans.

Somehow the word Cancer was beautiful and not deadly only because of these two boys around you.

Karkat growls silently, but his voice was like a whisper once he spoke up while glaring at Kankri,"nice way of just throwing it out there fucktwad..."

Kankri rolls his eyes at Karkat,"n9w isn't the time t9 6e using such triggering w9rds Karkat..."

"I know I know....its about (y/n)....now answer mister know it all's question.....please" Karkat continues to speak in a hushed voice.

It surprised you he actually said please.

I begin to shake a little, my bottom lip quivering, I didn't know how to answer, I just didn't want them to worry about me.

"COME ON WE DONT HAVE ALL DAY!" Karkat shouts at me, making me shreak and start crying.

"Karkat y9u im6ecile!" Kankri shrieks at Karkat, it was like two cats fighting and hissing at each other, then I finally spoke up which put ease to the fight,"i-i just didn't w-want you guys t-to worry a-about m-me, I didn't w-want to b-be a burden in y-y'alls l-life" I spoke softly, sobbing inbetween my words.

Karkat and Kankri stare at me, sadness very noticeable in their eyes.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you (y/n).....i just actually really care about the fucked up situation your in....." Karkat spoke softly once again before getting a tissue and wiping away my tears.

Kankri puts on a soft smile to brighten the mood,"do you mind us asking some questions?"

I shook my head no slowly as they both nodded, Karkat going first.

"how long has this been going on?...."

"a Year"

Karkat frowns a bit at my answer.

"I've been settling scores
I've been fighting so long"

Now kankri.

"what specific kind 9f cancer is it?"

"Acute Leukemia"

Karkat hisses a little,"(y/n)......"

"I'm sorry..."

Karkat sighs and looks at Kankri,"anymore questions?"

Kankri nods and looks over at me.

"h9w l9ng did the d9ct9rs say y9u had left right n9w?"

I looked away to avoid his gaze,"I have about 3 weeks left....maybe even just one"

"But I've lost your war
And our kingdom is gone

Kankri frowns a bit too, it's like on cue the two trolls in unison said,"I'm s99ry"

I smiled at them sadly as a way of saying its okay.

*time skip 4 days later*

I was on my way home from walking my (dog breed), I walked past my neighbor while commenting on how beautiful her flowers look, in return she smiles at me and says thank you.

I open the gates to my front yard and let me my dog run up the steps to the front door, I started getting slightly dizzy and I could barely breath, I could hear the faint voice of my neighbor asking me if I was okay as she started walking over to my house when she got no answer, my dog started barking as I make my way up one step and collapsed onto the concrete ground, out cold as my neighbor starts panicking and calling 911 and then calling (b/n).

*time skip to hospital*

I wake around 10:35 pm, I see a note (b/n) left for me saying he left around 9 because he had to go to work, yeah he works late shifts sadly.

I begin to feel lonely as I read the papers over on the side table of what happened to me, already pretty much knowing what happened.

I grabbed my phone and called.....
