"Morning Izaya." A voice chirped as he awoke in the shade of tree, his head on the lap of a familiar person with a white dress and sunhat. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

"Y/N?" He questioned as he rubbed his eyes. "Where are we?"

"Valhalla silly! How could you forget that?"

"So it does exist..."

"Yes, I was exiled for not being a great warrior, but they'll gladly welcome you. I'm happy for you Izaya."

His dream was coming true, his theory was right, he hadn't just made it up.

"Once you walk through the gates of Valhalla," she continued, "you'll leave me and the rest of your worries behind."

"No." He held her hand tightly and smirked. "I'm taking you with me, you deserve it."

"Why not just leave me?"

"Because you're one of the only things I have left."

She giggled and smiled at her husband, his happiness was hers and her happiness was his. The two were finally complete.

"No no no no no..." The youngest teen daughter cried as she watched his breathing stop. "Dad! No!"

"First Y/N and now Izaya?!" Kano yelled as he punched the brick wall. "Why... why does the world hate us?!"

"Dad... please... don't leave."

Gunshots.

20 of them.

Pierced his skin and sent him off to Valhalla.

It was a trap.

A very believable trap.

And now he was with his love.

Happy.

The world was their's and their's to share.

Yet they only shared it with one person.

Each other.
