I based this short story off a particular myth in Greek mythology. I wanted something Amazon themed and I found the story of Antiope.
She was one of the only Amazons to leave the tribe and fall in love. Her sisters then tried to retrieve her from her "kidnapping" and in a big battle between Theseus' army and the Amazons she actually fought with the Greeks.
I found this fascinating and wanted to explore the very beginning of the love that Antiope and Theseus share. That is what I hope to have captured in this piece.
