Tom woke up and didn't want to open his eyes afraid yesterday had been a dream. He wiggled slightly feeling Tord next to him and hopped that meant the day before had been real, so he slowly opened his eyes and felt Tord's arms around him pulling hi closer. He cuddled into Tord's chest happily. Tord woke up a bit later hungry, and decided he wanted to go out to eat with Tom, his tommie boo
Tord asked Tom if he wanted to go out to eat and Tom hesitated before nodding. Tom hated restaurants. The first and last time he went to one one of his old master was there and the master he had been with almost got killed.
Tord got up and Tom got up following him. Tord went to brush his teeth and realized he didn't have a tooth brush for Tom or any other toiletries... did neko's even brush their teeth? He didn't no, but guessed since Tom had a human mouth he did? he dug through one of his bathroom draws finding an extra toothbrush and handing it to Tom.
Tom had never seen a toothbrush before, and didn't know what it was for. "You can use my toothpaste" Tord didn't know if human toothpaste was safe for Tom, but he figured one time wouldn't hurt as long as Tom didn't swallow it.
(Tom: *swallows the whole tube*)
Tom stared at Tord confused then the tooth brush and watched Tord put the toothpaste on his brush then he handed it to Tom. He did the same as he had seen Tord do, and copied Tord in brushing his teeth. He didn't realize till it was too late that he was supposed to spit it out not swallow it and thought it tasted horrible! He coughed and gagged sticking out his tongue that now burned.
Tord looked at Tom concerned now realizing, also too late, that Tom had never brushed his teeth before. "Are you okay? You aren't supposed to swallow it..." Tord didn't mean to sound rude or make Tom feel bad, but Tom felt stupid that he hadn't realized he wasn't supposed to swallow it.
"I'm okay" the tooth paste gave him a stomach ache and he decided he hated toothpaste more than he hated questions. "I'm sorry" he felt like by swallowing it he had made Tord upset not understanding Tord wasn't upset with him at all.
They finished getting ready, and Tord put his red hoodie on Tom and some pants that were too small for the red leader. Tord decided he and Tom would go shopping later. Tom looked like a child wearing their parents clothing when he wore Tord's clothing, but he didn't mind. He liked how everything in Tord's room smelt like Tord. (What a suprize! Tord's quarters smell like Tord! who would have guessed!!)
Tom and Tord went to Olive Garden because it was close and the only restraunt that wouldn't be crowded at this time of day, and Tord pet Tom while they looked through the menu. Tom was so nervous he thought someone would see him and try to hurt him and/or Tord.
Everything went surprisingly well at least in Tom's mind. Tord didn't think anything would go wrong. Tom realized the waitress seemed rather nervous around Tord, but didn't understand why, and she kept calling him 'Red Leader' Tom didn't know what that meant, but didn't question it. 'Was he the boss of the color red? did he decide where and what could be red?' Tom didn't know, but it sounded funny to him.
Tom got Zuppa Toscana (That's what I always get), and Tord got Fettuccine Alfredo. Tom thought the bread sticks where the best thing ever, and ripped one up putting the pieces in his soup. Tord watched Tom for a moment seeing how such small things like food made Tom so happy, and he found it adorable.
On their way out Tom stopped dead in his tracks then ran behind Tord
"What's the matter, love?" Tord asked his little neko
"T-The guy over there" Tom points to a guy who was getting out of his car "hurt me before.. a lot "
Tord picked up Tom "everything will be okay your with me now you're safe" Tord carried Tom out. He put Tom in the car, and did Tom's seat belt like he always did then wrote down the guys plate number
Planning on getting revenge on the person who hurt his Tommie. He didn't understand how anyone could hurt such an innocent baby like his Tom. Tom had done nothing wrong and deserved so much better than he had put up with.
They headed back to the base and Tord put Tom in the room. He set Tom up on his laptop on some teen clothing store "I have work to do I'll be back tonight, order whatever clothing you want" Tord kissed Tom's forehead making Tom blush

Tom had no idea how to use the computer or spell anything to look for what he wanted. after a few hours he figured out how to use it, but he didn't like it. After ordering a few outfits he got into the bed and took a nap. Being awake for so long was't something he was used to. When he had been in the shelter his life held little excitement and he spent most of his time napping.
Tord sent Pau to check on Tom shortly after Tom had fallen asleep. Pau expected Tord to have a pet cat or something like that, so when he went into Tord's quarters and found a neko he was extremely confused. 'Neko's aren't real? Their only in porn right? I'm seeing things, this has to be a dream' But no Tom was truly there in front of him. Pau would never understand such a creature, but Tom looked fine enough so he left without a word and went back to the red leader.
