Tord had been in his office when he was giving a letter from one of his soldiers. He opened it and read.
It was addressed 'to the red leader'
''I am prepared to take my world back. Tomorrow will be your last day alive. I have many soldiers more than you could ever dream of. And I will be taking over again. "
It was from Edd....
Tord prepared his army guns and all. He wasn't going to lose his world to Edd and he wasn't going to die. He couldn't die. He couldn't leave Tom alone in this world.
After everything was prepared he went to talk to Tom. Tom was playing with blocks when Tord walked in. Tom had built a castle.
"Hi Tord! " Tom smiled and looked to his love. That's when he saw it. The look that scared him. Tord was upset. It made tom want to curl into a ball.
"Tom we need to talk" Tord said sitting next to Tom
Tom didn't like the sound of that. He was afraid he would be abandoned but he tried to keep his hopes up that it was something else.
"Tom, tomorrow there's going to be a war I won't be here. You need to stay here and be safe. I wanted to tell you so you wouldn't worry if I didn't come back for a few days. I don't know exactly how long the war will last."
Tom had tears swelling up in the corners of his eyes.
"I'm coming with you" Tom said confidently
"Tom no I don't want you to get hurt" Tord looked tom in the eyes showing him it just ain't going to happen. Tom didn't even try to argue he knew Tord would say that. That's why Tom was going to sneak follow them.
Tord and Tom cuddled and Tord thought 'this may be the last time I'm able to do this' he kissed Tom on the forehead and held tom tightly.
Morning came and Tord had to leave. As soon as he was out of the room tom grabbed an extra uniform from one of the soldiers and quickly changed into it and followed as it he belonged. He had tucked his tail in the pant leg and tried to hide his ears in his hair.
-time skip to the battle -
So far Tord hasn't noticed tom.
Gun shots
Blood
Death
Flesh being ripped apart.. wait what
That's when Tord saw Tom in monster form.. ripping the enemy apart. Tord looks away for just a minute and he's surrounded. Tom sees this and runs to Tord. There is no winning for Tord today. Paul and patryk shoot at the enemy making their way to Tord. They wouldn't let the boy the raised be killed
Tom was shot several times..by both sides.. for one since he was bigger he was caught in fire that wasn't even aimed at him two Tord's side didn't know he was with them three the enemy knew he was with the red leader. patryk and Paul knew Tord's army couldn't win they grabbed him when they got to him. "Let go of me! What are you doing!" They knew Tord wouldn't give up. They carried him out shooting any enemies that got near and any they didn't tom killed or another solider. Tom was getting weak but wouldn't stop until he was dead or the battle was won.
Paul and patryk dragged Tord onto a helicopter Tord screamed at them and tried to get free but they knew how he moved and how to stop him from getting away.
They took off and as they flew away Tord saw Tom die before him. Tord screamed and fell to the floor of the helicopter "NOOOO NO NO TOM NOOO " Tord did something he rarely did. He cried.
patryk and Paul tried to comfort him but it was no use. They knew Tom was the only person Tord loved romantically. And seeing Tom die would be like hurting Tord. Tord almost felt as tho they were the same person.
He cried the whole way back to the base. He didn't want to live any longer.
