Chapter 12: The Plan

Annabeth's POV

I was sitting in the lounge with Raven. "Hey Rae are you ready to go and eat lunch?" I asked Raven. She didn't answer. I looked up from my book. "Raven!" I yelled and brought her out of her thoughts.

"Huh...... What?" she asked looking confused.

"I asked you if you are ready to go and eat lunch," I replied.

"Um.... I'm not hungry right now but I guess I will still come," she said.

"Ok come on then. The others are already there," I said.

At Lunch

Still Annabeth's POV

We walked over and sat with the others. "So where have you two been?" Leo asked.

"We where hanging in the lounge," I answered. "Wasn't that right Rae?"

She didn't reply. I looked over at her and noticed that she zoned out. Again. Leo who was sitting across half yelled,"Raven! Raven you there?! Hello?! Raven!"

She still didn't reply. "Raven! Raven answer me! Raven!!" He tried again. Still no answer.

"Raven! Raven are you ok?" Nico tried.

"Ya...... I'm just...... Fine," she said looking around like she almost forgot where she was.

"I tried to get your attention seven times and you didn't reply," Leo said.

"Oh sorry I was just..... just thinking," Raven said.

"What where you thinking about?" Percy asked.

"Nothing important....... Nico can I talk to you please," she asked.

"Ya sure," he answered confused.

They both got up and left the table. "You guys that was the second time she zoned out today," I said once they where gone.

"Really? I wonder what is on her mind," Thalia said.

"We need to find out," Andrew said. We all nodded in agreement.

They where gone for five minutes before they came back. In those five minutes we found out a plan to find out what was on her mind. Ok so what we are going to do is before bed we are going to have either Percy, Andrew, Leo, or Nico talk to her. Of course we have to tell Nico the plan. But there is time for that later. Next Thalia and I will pretend that we are going to bed. But really we are going to set up a trap as the boys keep Raven busy so that she doesn't go to bed. After five minutes they will go to bed and then she will probably go to bed to and she will fall into the trap and then we will say that we will not let her out until she tells us what is on her mind.
