Oh Baby, You Make Me Crazy

I woke up to crying and being shaken, I opened my eyes to see Colby crying "What? What's wrong!?" I asked, jumping up "I-i went to take Sissy out but she's not brea-breathing" I looked at him and tried to smile but started crying. I looked over to the pillow by my head and seen her little lifeless body, laying still in a ball.

I started crying harder and picked her up, holding her to my chest.

I had cried for about four hours, and now Colby had called Sam and everyone over because I locked myself in the bathroom with her. I was only in my shirt and underwear since thats what i wore when we took a nap, but I walked outs till holding her and my swollen cheeks and puffy eyes. Colby ran over to me and held me to him "She was my baby".

He just held me and kissed my head. After a minute I went to put shorts on and then went into the living room where everyone was setting, waiting on me. I didn't even talk, just picked up her wite blanket with pink polka dots and wrapped her up in it with her toys and then I sat her down on her bed, I went and sat between Sam and Colby, feeling lifeless.

"She had parvo" I said, my voice raspy "And I found out too late" Colby just held my hand. I pulled my hand back "I'm gonna bury her" I said, getting up and grabbing the box before walking outside. Everyone stayed inside and I started to dig a hole, weakly and still upset. I played her gentley in the ground and covered her back up, I went into my garage and grabbed the headstone I had made for this, it just said 'Sissy' on it. I placed it above her and I turned around, just to see Colby there.

I ran over and jumped in his arms, not crying, but still heart broken.
