It's been about two month's since Sissy died, and I wasn't as sad as I was. I knew it was bound to happen, I'll always love her though, no matter what. But, I had to get over that so Colby, Aaron, and I were going out to a dog shelter today.
I decided on a black pair of tights with whte skulls all over them, a black crop top with long sleeves that had a white skull on it, and some of my black and white Creepers, yes the shoes. I had straightened my hair and put on mascara and some chapstick.
After a moment I finally climbed into my car and headed to their house, where I texted Colby that I was here. I quickly put on my belt and started to play some music off the radio. The passenger doors opened and I seen Aaron getting in the back seat, I smiled at both of them and when they put their belts on I started off towards an animal shelter.
When we arrived, I got out slowly and Colby walked over and grabbed my hand. We walked in and were welcomed. We just looked at all of them. Until I had fallen inlove with two of them. Two husky puppies that were cuddling by the opening of the cage, sleeping. "Them" "Are you sure?" I nodded and he kissed my cheek before going to talk to the man behind the counter. I read the little tag and noticed it said potty trained, one boy one girl. Girl is Diamond and the boy is Ace. I thought it was precious.
So after nearly an hour, we were putting them in the backseat with Aaron. We got their food and such while we were there but then went to my house. Aaron decided to stay for a bit to play with them.
We took them outside and Colby got their foood and water set up while Aaron put on Ace's new collar and I put Diamond's on. I just got blue and pink ones. Colby came out and we started to play with them but then Aaron decided to go to the house, leaving me and Colby with the puppies.
I was really happy Colby pushed me to get new puppies. He knew I was heart broken, but already this was helping. But, I wasn't gonna just forget about Sissy, she was still my baby girl. I kissed Ace's little lose and he put his little paw on my cheek, which jut made me smile.
