"Where are you going dressed like that?" "Omg Skye! You scared me" Alissa held onto her heart as I stopped her from where she was going "Why?" "You said you was going to work and I thought I was alone" "Oh sorry I forgot that today was my restaurant job and not my cafe shift so I came to quickly change into this" I show her my uniform "I don't know how you work two jobs and go school" "You look nice" I compliment her "You look nice too" "Thanks" I said and grabbed my jacket "And where are you going?" "To a meeting" "Oh well then good luck!!" We scream out at the same time and I run down to the bus stop before I miss the bus
While I was running to the bus stop I could've sworn I saw Jordan's car pass me but must have just been another car 'Why am I thinking of him wtf'
"I'm here sorry I'm late" I rushed into the 5 star restaurant and went to the back "You are like 2 minutes late its okay" I smiled as my nice boss reassured me and he smiled back
"Skye it's hard having 5 or 6 jobs I understand you want the best for your life and that is what I love about you you know how to handle it all and still still do an amazing job, so please don't stress remember I'm always here for you" He sounded like the dad I never had which made me a bit emotional "Boss the family have arrived" A waiter comes into the kitchen and informs him "Ahh yes, think about it skye" I nodded and he left
My boss was so nice, he was about 45 years old but he always acted like my dad ever since I had been here, he's smoking rich and you'd think because of the money he would be very arrogant but in fact I was proved wrong, he's better than I could ever imagine
"Earth to Skye?" Dylan waved his hand out and I snapped back to reality "Oh your back-" Dylan, a chef, made me snap out of my thoughts "-you kinda zoned out there" he scratched behind his head "Yeah sorry" I smile "Well boss said I should come and get you we need more waitresses"
"Why" "The black family are here and they are bigger than normal" "The black family?" That got my attention "Yeah weird right?" "Yeah very-" I scrunched my eyebrows "He said he'd pay you double if you work now, how comes you get special treatment" I shrug "Not special treatment-" I push him back "-but yeah let me just get ready"
I slipped off my jacket and my ballet shoe and replaced them with plain heels and put my stuff in my locker remembering to lock it
"What the hell are the black family doing here' I think to myself 'Black family, black family' I gasp as I realise what I was saying
'Wait that means that Jordan's here!' I gape to myself starting to shake a little
I took out my hair tie and let my hair falls over my shoulders 'Just act calm Skye, no eye contact' I convince myself
I walk into the kitchen and grabb two dished "This is for MR Jordan Black and this is for his girlfriend I didn't catch her name"
'So much for no eye contact'
"Okay cool" I sigh out and takethe newly dished out dishes and walked out straight to the table
"Jordan?" I looked the lady and she points toward the other side and there he was but what surprised me was who he was with
"Alissa?" I whisper but she seemed to have heard me as she looked up and he smile dropped "Skye?"Jordan looks up at me from his phone and his smile also drops "What are you doing here?" Skye asks me "I work here" I snap at her putting the dishes down "Skye" A husky voice says my name which makes me feel some type of way but I push away the feeling "Jordan you know her?" A random woman asks him and he quickly shook his head
"Erm yeah but dont worry about it mum" "Another fling?" A man guessing his dad asked him but he didn't answer and just looked down
"Sorry, excuse me" I place all the dishes down properly trying to hold my tears back, I didn't even sleep with him and he embarrasses me like that
"Skye" He says aloud but I ignored he tried to grab my wrist but I was quick and walked back over to his mum "Anything else you would need ma'am?" I tried to say so my voice didn't crack "No my dear, thank you" I curtsied and walk-ran to the toilet
