2nd March 2004 was the day man sent us off on our journey, and using the strength of three powerful rockets, we broke through the earth's atmosphere and started revolving around the sun while orbiting earth.
4th March 2005, one year since takeoff, we were still circling obediently and had completed one whole orbit. But it was also the year we finally started using the earth's gravitational field to slowly swing away from the sun.
25th February 2007 we used Mar's gravity to swing even farther from the sun as the orbit became bigger.
13th November 2007 we used our trick of using a earth's gravity for the third time and swung farther yet from the sun.
On 5th September 2008, we traveled past an asteroid called Stenins, and took detailed pictures to send to earth.
13th November 2009 was when we used the swing trick on earth for the fourth time and neared Churyumov- Gerasimenko's ovular orbit.
10th July 2010 was the day when flew by another asteroid, Lutetia, and Mom Rosetta took pictures of it as well and sent them to their destination on earth, DLR.
On 6th August 2014, we finally came close to the comet. And on 10th November 2014, Mom Rosetta lowered me onto Churyumov- Gerasimenko.
