George had a small room that he kept locked at all times, and only he had the key to it.
He placed enchantments on it so no one could unlock it using any spells or even muggle tricks.

It contained only a chair, and a large portrait of Fred. When he felt particularly lonely, he would go into the room, and call into the empty portrait frame for Fred, who would immediately come from his portrait in the Gryffindor common room to spend time with his brother.
