KC heard her dad's car pull up in the driveway , and saw her dad help someone out of the passenger side. KC rushed downstairs , and peeked around the corner. Her dad and this woman holding hands in the kitchen. Her dad whispered , " Maybe this is a good time to tell her about us. " KC bucked her eyes and yelled , " Tell me what dad ?!" Her dad said , " Honey come here and sit. " KC sat beside the woman in the kitchen , and her dad said , " This is Caroline White , and we wanted to know that would you be okay with us getting married ?" KC said , " I'm happy for you dad , and if marrying again , makes you happy then I'm fine with that. " Her dad said , " KC are you mad at me for not telling you ?" KC shook her head and said , " I know mom was your first love , and she would've wanted nothing but the best for us. " Her dad said , " Caroline this my daughter KC . " Caroline looked at KC and smiled & said , " She's so beautiful ." KC said , " It's nice to meet you. " Caroline was a beautiful woman with long black hair , and she was made up nice . KC had now realized she had a step mom. KC said , " Dad I need to talk to you and Caroline about something ." Then they both looked at KC and Caroline said , " I don't expect you to call me mom if you don't want to. " KC said , " Mom & Dad ." Caroline & KC's dad looked shocked , and said , " Yes what is it ?" KC said , " I think I'm pregnant by one of the richest family's son. " Her dad said , " Oh shit KC they'd probably flip , because your black. " Caroline said , " Honey let's not get worked up about this now. " Then KC said , " Oh mom , say something. " Caroline said , " It depends on which family it is sweetie . " Her dad said , " Which one ?" KC said , " The Collins family . " Her dad spit out his coffee and said , " KC that's my biggest work partner and top next top as a lawyer. " Caroline said , " Does the boy know. " KC held her head down and said , " Scott doesn't know & we're been dating 8 months now. " Her dad said , " Goodness here we go , and I'm not mad it's just that his parents might eat me alive if they find out. " Caroline said , " No they're not honey we got you. " KC smiled and hugged Caroline and her dad. KC went to her room , and let her dad & Caroline and her dad. KC went to her room , and let her dad & Caroline have their privacy. KC texted the girls , and said that she's on the way . KC drove to Katy's house , and had her PJ's on like she said she would.
