Lester
I woke up this morning drenched in my sweat. My clothes from yesterday sticking to my skin, my hair standing like Punk Head's (a goth kid in my class) and my dry and itchy. I really didn't want to go to school today for one main reason; Lizzy. I know that she's going to pull one on me because she's been trying to get through me ever since I abandoned her to deal with Ken on operation "date night" on Saturday. I went into the bathroom and washed out my caramel face and hopped into the shower, hoping for the best.
I jogged my way downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed an apple from the fruit basket to go. As I was about to open the car door suddenly my dad stepped in front of me and my ride to school "Where are you going looking like that?" he asked sternly.
I said looking obvious "Uh to school? And if you don't get out of the way I'll be late, very late actually".
He shook his head "Not like some junk bag hobo, go change".
I paused before stalking off to the garage, finding and starting up my motorbike. Before my dad could stop me from going anywhere, I drove off, leaving a trail of dust behind me.As I arrived at the school's parking lot, the first thing I saw was a poster with the spring dance titled boldly onto the printed paper. I mentally rolled my eyes at how many people wanted to go to that stupid dance, it really doesn't make sense. Its just a scam to make students pay to go inside, and then pay for the games that you pay, kinda like a carnival, except with more make out sessions and sex.
As I walked up the stairs I bumped into our student council president Carly "Hey Lester, don't forget that you have basketball practice at exactly 11.05 by the court. Better not be late like last time" she scolded.
I rolled my eyes "You do know that I don't need another dad in my life right now, and yeah, whatever". She glared at me as I shoved my way past her and into the hallway.
I was late to Art again so I chose to skip it, again. After all I do have a bunch of hall passes on me so best make use of them on Monday's. As I was going to give my pass to Ryan, our hall monitor, I saw a very unwelcoming person. I walked up to him and asked "What the hell are you doing here?"
