A Dragon's Spirit! (Natsu X Reader)

The Past.

Previously:

Thinking still, it dawned on me that i was kind of a bit horrible to that Natsu kid. Actually, i was really horrible to him, i shouldn't have punched him maybe that was uncalled for... Plus, you could smell his dragon scent, maybe he knows about all of the dragons and where they went. Maybe he knows other dragon slayers, i thought i was the only one until today. I've never actually met or spoken to another dragon slayer before.

Maybe i should find him...

Time skips~ 2 Days Later:

Your P.O.V

I've been wondering around this forest for two days now... Feels like years! I need to get myself back to the fairy tail guild and apologias to Natsu and everyone for my rude exit. Not even introducing myself, its not like they would know about my passed. Like, Natsu wasn't to know not to touch or grab me, the old me would have gone all silly because, i mean... hes not bad looking after all!

I hope i find someone or a sign soon..

End of P.O.V- More time skips~ 5 hours later:

You were officially feeling hopeless and felt as if you would be going round in circles for the rest of your days living. Needing food and water, you felt yourself wasting away...

And suddenly...

Everything started to fade and go dark, then fuzzy, then black...

Natsu's P.O.V:

That girl has been on my mind now ever since 'met' her at the bench near the guild. Yet i still don't know her name, I know she told Erza but i haven't seen her in a while.

The fat that this girl just disappeared is beyond me how she manged to... Wait, i think i recall Erza saying after she ran out of the guild that she wasn't from around her and she was just removed from her own guild... Meaning that she must be lost!

I need to get back to the guild get my team and look for her!

End of P.O.V

At the guild:

"Guys, guys hurry we have to go now!" Natsu exclaimed at the top of his voice while running into the guild, everyone turned to face him and here him out of what he has to say. "Please guys we need to go, you remember than girl that was in here earlier that ran out?" Natsu continued. "(Y/n)?? yeah what has happened to her?" Erza asking, curious about what Natsu has to say. "She needs our help, i went to talk to her a few days ago and as you know she ran off, its just dawned on me that she don't know here way around... She could be lost or hurt, hungry and thirsty!" Natsu's eye were welling up and everyone could tell he was serious.

"Okay Natsu, its fine we got this! were team Natsu after all, well find her don't worry" the blonde wizard said as she patted him on the back. "Yeah well all go hunting for her, she seemed nice and would like to get to know her! Carla you coming to?" Wendy asked, Carla nodded and looked at happy. "AYEEE!" was his response.

They all left the guild extremely fast, there was team Natsu and a few other that joined to make the search extra big. Some were asking people if they had seen her in the streets, giving the best description they can give. Others were looking in bins and in shops, ally's and even up trees. Team Natsu went into the forest that was close by, it was a huge forest and they didn't think they would find (y/n).

Natsu came to a halt, smelling the air to see if he could smell you. "This way!" Natsu started running, having court your scent in the air sending him your direction. The team trailed behind trying to keep up. Realising Natsu and happy had stopped again but this time were looking down at the floor covered by leaves. "Pl-ease. Don't. Be!" Natsu said in a soft quite tone, happy went over to, what looked like hair beneath the leaves. He moved some of them to reveal your (h/c) hair all matted and tangled. Natsu ran over to you and picket you up, feeling you were still warm but getting cold. You had a cut on the left side of your for head where you must have hit a tree or maybe the floor when coming into contact with it when you fainted from lack of food and water.

"She must have fainted, anyone got any food or water?!" Natsu begged his friends, "yes, i have some in my beg, try and wake her so we can get her to eat something." Erza started looking through her bag, after finding what she needed she placed it on the floor next to Natsu, who was knelt on the floor with you across his lap in his arms. "(y/n), (y/n) wake up...Your save now! We have some food and water here for you!" Lucy bent down and said to your unconscious body.

"Oh look! i think shes waking a little. i will try healing her to see if it helps!" Wendy said and she knelt down in front of Natsu and started her magic. Yours eyes started to flutter and you breath came about to it original pace, normal and healthy. "We really should get her back to rest at the guild." Wendy said after succeeding in her healing ritual. The group nodded and off they went, telling the other guild mates that they have found you and they can go home or back to the hall if they want to.

The next day~ At the guild hall:

"Morning master, Mira. How is she doing?" Erza asked as her and the rest of team Natsu had arrived to the guild early to check up on you and to see if you were better and contentious again.

"Morning guys, yes right this way." Mira replied innocently, they all followed to the infirmary where you were staying in to find you were sat up on your bed. Slumped over looking at the floor, you had been crying so your sniffles were strong... "Hello, how are you feeling (y/n)?" Lucy asked you, you looked at her in confusion... "Hello? can someone please tell me whats happened... i don't know who i am, i cant remember..." you replied to the group, causing them to all be in shock by your words."You ran away from your guild, you found yourself here. I helped you out, you had no food no water, so i brought you back here. You freaked out and ran off... we found you a few days later in the forest unconscious and almost cold!" Erza explained to you.

 "Do you mean you cant remember anything?" Natsu sat on the bed next to you and put his hand on your shoulder, causing you to blush a little. "All i remember is my child hood, i remember being alone one day...Walking through a forest and being approached by a, dragon. her name was Jasmina, she was my mother and... Well, she just left one day and i have never seen her again." you finished telling your story, wiped the tears away from your eyes and smiled, "Although i miss her so, i don't forget them time we spent together! But i don't remember anything else... I'm sorry!". "That's fine, we can help you! do you know how to use your magic still? do you remember what it is?" the blonde wizard said walking over and sitting on the bed in front of you. "let me see..." you replied and started thinking. ~Nature dragon, Ivy Wrap~ you summoned ivy and it wrapped itself around you wrist and hand.

"Wow..." the whole group said in unison, a sight they have never seen before as there are not two of the type of dragon slayer. Natsu turned to you putting his hand on your leg so your face him back.

"Your not alone, i also am a dragon slayer. I am Natsu Dragneel, the fire dragon slayer of Fairy Tail!".

"Did your mother or father also leave? or is there a way i can see or speak to Jasmina?!"

"Yes... My father Igneel left me also when i was a child. I have had a chance to talk to my uncle through spirits but that all unfortunately, I'm sorry"

"Thats okay, thank you for introducing yourself!" you gave a chuckle as you've forgotten your memories you had no idea of wear you where and who everyone was...Not even yourself.

"Well I'm Natsu as I've said, this is Lucy shes a Celestial wizard. Here's Gray hes a Ice wizard. Erza she uses requip magic and this is Happy he is my exceed!" he said with a big grin on his face.

"Exceed..." you whispered to yourself, everything was starting to come together...
