Previously:

"That's okay, thank you for introducing yourself!" you gave a chuckle as you've forgotten your memories you had no idea of wear you where and who everyone was...Not even yourself.

"Well I'm Natsu as I've said, this is Lucy shes a Celestial wizard. Here's Gray hes a Ice wizard. Erza she uses requip magic and this is Happy he is my exceed!" he said with a big grin on his face.

"Exceed..." you whispered to yourself, everything was starting to come together...

Your P.O.V

Exceed, why does that sound familiar. Maybe i just really hit my head hard when i fell...

I thought i had lost my hat from my head but then realised i still had it on, 'that was close' i thought to myself, they might not except me for who i am when they see whats underneath. Maybe i should show them... no. I cant its too different.

What if someone asks you why you hat it on... all of the time. 

Come to think of it, that dragon slayer has a scarf on, maybe hes hiding something too.

Out of P.O.V

You side yourself up right straightening your hat making sure its nice and firm on your head just in case. when you hear the blonde wizard call out to you from across the room, "hey, urm (y/n). Do you have a place to stay around here? If not you can say with me for a few nights until you can find a place!" she smiled at you with an infectious smile... you could say no to that face and kindness. "yeah, i would love that. Maybe i can get to know everyone her--"

"hay! Why do you have this on the--"

Everyone went silent as Gray pulled off your hat revealing your...

"Ears??" Erza said starting at you.

You extremely embarrassed and outraged, you went underneath the covers of the bed and hid from all the member whom were present in the room...

"Gray you jerk! Why would you do that... You can clearly see she didn't wanna take that hat off... why didn't you want too? i think your ears are so cute." the blonde wizard said to you, it was muffled but you could make out what she was saying.

You come back out from under the covers, ears first as they pop up from the cover. "You mean it?" you looked at everyone red faced. "Of course i do!" she smiled at you, "I would dye for a pair of ears so beautiful!" Erza said still looking at them, her eyes met yours. "Wait, (y/n). Have your eyes changed?" they had gone from your natural (e/c) to an orangey red colour, just like cat eyes with the slit pupil. "Urr.. Yeah that happens.. Also my dragon slayer magic gets stronger when my ears are revealed.." you say nervously still embarrassed.

"Wow that super cool!" Natsu starts. "You remind me off Carla, Wendy's exceed!"...

With just these words, flash backs and memories all came back to you from when you were extremely young. Screaming in pain, everyone around you backs off slightly, "nice one flame brain!" comes from across the room, "It was your fault to begin with-"

"ENOUGH!" you growled loudly, with a demonic tone to your voice, causing everyone in the room to shudder and go completely quite. And then... Black.

3 Days later:

"Guys shes waking up!" Lucy said calling some of them in to the room, you were now in Lucy house so she could keep a good eye on your at all times. just in case.

"Morning (y/n), how are you feeling? You have been unconscious for 3 whole days, we were starting to worry about you. Especially Natsu... hes been worried sick about you!" Lucy explains. "Oh, feels like its been 20 minutes to me.. That's odd. Did i faint? What happened before i did so?!" you asked her, and she explained again.

"Im sorry you had to experience that, when my true form is revealed to new people it sends my head a little funny, that is why i always have that hat on." You look out the window, sitting up on Lucy's bed and continue, " I was bullied as a child for my ears and for my tail... They called me a monster and said i should have died at birth... My real parents dead when i was quite young around 4 ish and i lived with my Nana, until i was 6 i think. She passed away around my 7th birthday."

You paused as you could see Lucy was welling up in her eyes as she hugged you. "That's when i found Jasmina, she was so accepting of me, even as half exceed... I should explain why i'm like this. My mother and father were both half breads. My Nana was human but my Grandad was an exceed, it didn't really make sense to me how, but i know it was the truth." You took a deep breath and notice someone is at the door way, "Natsu, did you hear all of that?" you say as Lucy's brakes from the hug, and all turn to look at him.

"Yeah, i heard you. I'm sorry about your parents." walking over to you, he sits next you you on Lucy's bed and wraps his arms around you. He whisperer in your ear, "i was so worried about you, you don't have to be ashamed of yourself in fairy tail.. We love everyone for who they are. You happen to be a very rare being." Natsu looked you in the eyes after letting go of the hug. "Please join... Join our family in fairy tail..."
