"He's so beautiful.", Selena say while tears flood her eyes

"I'll send in you friends.", Dr. Lewis smile as he left

"He looks like a DeGrate man.", Dalvin smiles as he rubs the soft black curly hair of the baby boy

"OMG.", Lashawn say as Aaliyah and Missy rushes over to look at him

"Aww JoJo look at our nephew.", K-CI says while smiling

"What's the little fella name.", JoJo ask

"August Arturo DeGrate.", I say while holding him

"Why August?", K-CI ask

"Because it's August fool.", Lashawn say while rolling her eyes

"Yeah and he looks like an August.", I smile as the coo over him

"Your fam is at your house Selena.", Missy say as I nod

"Well Mr. DeGrate and Ms. Quintanilla here go his birth certificate.", Dr. Lewis say as we sign the birth certificate

"He looks like a DeGrate yo.", JoJo says

"That's what I said.", Dalvin smile

"My baby Aug.", I say as I kissed his forehead

Dalvin:

I know I have Kendra. But when I see this little boy you can tell he's a DeGrate man. I already love this kid like he's mine biologically. One thing I notice he has is a light eye color I can hardly tell . But he has the DeGrate men jawline.

"Selena can we hold August.", Lashawn asks

"Yes.", Selena say giving August to Lashawn gently

"Hey Auggie this your auntie Shawn and that's auntie Missy and auntie Liyah.", Lashawn smiles as Missy and Aaliyah coo over him

"Yo little man I'm uncle JoJo I don't know where you uncle K went.", JoJo smiles

No One:

In the hallway K-CI phoned DeVante. He feels like DeVante should be here for this moment. He also feels like DeVante should fight for his responsibility.

"Hello.", DeVante said as he picked up the phone

"Yo bro I'm at the hospital.", K-CI said but he was very anxious to hear DeVante response

"Why what's wrong.", DeVante said sounding concern

"Um nothing but Selena gave birth to a boy today.", K-CI said as he held the phone by his ear

"Oh tell her congratulations what's his name.", DeVante said weakly

"August Arturo DeGrate.", K-CI said as he checked out the nurses that walked by

"Oh.", DeVante said dryly as he hung up the phone

"Rude ass nigga.", K-CI said as he hung up the phone

As K-CI walked back to Selena room. He knew they were gonna ask where he was and stuff. But there was no way he was gonna tell.

"Where was you.", Lashawn ask

"On the phone with my mama.", K-CI lie but in his head he was in deep thought.

All K-CI could've thought was how Dalvin was a good man. He was starting to view DeVante in a different light. When Lashawn had K-CI son, K-CI didn't care who she was with he took care of their son Deven. It was his job and responsibility, he'd be damn if his son was calling another nigga "daddy". Dalvin take care of his own daughter but he's willing to be their for August even though Aug ain't his. K-CI had respect for that.

"Here ya go Dal.", Aaliyah say while giving baby August to Dalvin

"Well, well, well look at my boy.", Dalvin smiles happily as August little tiny hands reach to grab Dalvin nose

"Aww.", Selena said as she looks on

"Seems like someone wants to play with they daddy nose.", Dalvin says as August lips forms into a smile

"Look y'all we gotta go.", Lashawn said and with that the gang left

DeVante:

I didn't know how to react. I still don't. Selena gave birth to a son. My son. Which means Dalvin had to sign the birth certificate which means I legally just passed my son off as his. Which means I have no rights to him at all.

"De you ok.", My artist Ginuwine say

"I'm fine.", I sigh

"No you ain't what's up.", G asked me

"Man she gave birth to my son well now it's Dalvin son.", I say

"Who?", Ginuwine ask

"Selena.", I say

"That fine ass Latina with the big ass and sexy ass lips. Didn't know you was hitting that, but what you mean it's Dalvin son now.", G said

"I only hit it one time and I mean today she had my son but Dalvin signed everything which means it his now.", I say

"Man no it's not it's yours biologically. Paper don't mean shit it's what's in his DNA.", Ginuwine say but I'm not getting in his way at all

Dalvin can do whatever he wants. So can Selena. Again I don't care at all anymore
