Three days had passed, three very long days. Ashley felt a tad lonely considering the boys she'd spent so much time getting to know so well were no longer in her presence. Of course that only meant Luke, Calum, and especially Ashton. No matter what Michael had done to her, she couldn't rid the fact that she missed those three idiots. Sam meant everything to her but having her around just wasn't the same. Sam was more of a lover and guardian meanwhile the boys where more rough and she loved that about them. They all cared for her but at the same time they never acted as if she was fragile all the damn time.

The hospital staff talked only bad things about Ashley, saying "how could such a young lady want to take her life away so quickly?" She knew she'd taken drastic measures for such meaningless soul, but she knew that now. The staff didn't say anything after finding out the actual events Ashley was facing, or should we say, would be facing.

Yes in fact, Ashley did attempt to commit suicide, she didn't exactly die from the accident. After the doctor informed Sam, Justin, and Ashton of some 'slight' bad news, he wasn't referring to death specifically.

Once Ashley woke up from her unconsciousness, the doctors began to question her as if she was being accused of something. Asking her where she's from, what her last name is, who her parents were, those types of questions you wouldn't ask on a first date. Ashley just thought they recognized her on the news since she was missing. She just found it odd that they had found her even though she somewhat was on the media now when she was performing with the boys. But then she quickly shook that thought off since her parents didn't use the internet and she never used her full name only her first name.

After she was transferred to her room, Sam and Ashton quickly showed up. There were endless cries and endless hugs from both of them. However, Sam also had some news of her own that the doctor had informed them about. They figured Ashley would take the news better if it came from someone she knew. And the doctors were right.

Yes, Ashley was sort of on the news but not because she ran away from home. She was actually kidnapped when she was only a newborn. No one knew why or the motive behind her "parents" on why they would kidnap her. All they knew was that she belonged to another set of parents who never gave up looking for her.

Everyone discovered the news when neighbors started seeing less of Ashley. They grew suspicious because she'd always be at the church or out in the yard writing in sketchbook. The lies were getting even more ridiculous when asked "where's your daughter?" They answered with outrages stories such as, "she's visiting her grandparents" when the church knew both of the pastors parents had died years before. One neighbor eventually called the cops and they ended up linking everything.

Ashley was actually Ashley Nicolette Frangipane. Her real parents were not pastors and she was not supposed to be raised as such a religious child. Although everyone was worried Ashley would take the news to heart, she was actually quite relived that her 'parents' were actually her kidnappers. To Ashley, her life and thoughts made much more sense knowing she wasn't actually their child. She wanted to know her real parents, and siblings if she had any, when the police asked her about it.

In the mix of all the emotions, Ashley didn't know how to feel but she did know one thing for sure. She didn't want Michael Clifford knowing she was alive. She didn't want him in her life anymore. In her mind, the old Ashley died and being given second chance was time for someone new to rise.

Ashley had thought about the future in those three days as well. She knew she still wanted to get her music out there, without the boys this time. She didn't want anyone knowing who Ashley was, the girl who wrote love songs for a boy who didn't care about her.

She had a vision of everything she wanted to be. Her name wouldn't be Ashley anymore, instead she's mess up the letters in her name as a representation of how messed her life has been so far. Halsey. She had a story of a girl named Halsey who would rise to the top and wouldn't fall down for boys no more. She'd tear anyone in her way, including Michael Clifford. And when the day comes that she sees Michael Clifford, she knows damn well she'll tear him to shreds.
