3 Months After Reconvening with Eric...

Something warm touched my forehead with the softest pressure.

As I collected consciousness, it struck me that Eric's fingers were running through my hair smoothly.

I couldn't help but smile at the handsome being that caressed my head so gently.

"Good morning," His lips met mine at a curve. My heart began to race at the slightest touch of his body. "Let's go eat breakfast." Eric cracked a smile as he threw the covers off him, heading out the door.

Rubbing my eyes, I proceeded in his direction out in the hall and down the grand staircase.

Once reaching the kitchen, I immediately felt overwhelmed, in a good way, of how lively the room was.

Santiago sat at the furthest island table, his chest facing us, typing away without a single glance our direction. Alessandra was making herself a sandwich by the sink, gleaming at the sight of us.

Eric chuckled as he rounded the corner towards the stove, "So, will one of you care to tell me when my house became a motel?"

I grinned at his joke as I took a nibble of a cinnamon flavored cracker.

Alessandra's nose slightly crinkled while she glared at Eric. She left to the living room, passing us on the way and taking bites out of her meal.

"Oh, that reminds me— could you send up some fresh towels please? Thanks." Ales let out a laugh as she plopped on the sofa.

I cracked a smile when I seen Eric roll his eyes. He spoke to me quietly. "She's annoying."

As he stepped to me, closing the distance between us, I watched his sudden movements.

Eric smirked as he took me in his arms. His cool finger tracing under my chin, coaxing my face up to meet his gaze.

A small smile crept across his face once he realized I had held my breathe. I bit my lip, feeling my body ache for him at this very moment.

I'm sure he caught onto that, seeing as his next move was his lips lingering along my neck gently, taunting my skin. I giggled softly, merely a faint whisper.

In content, I closed my eyes as his hands caught my face, attaching his lips to mine. His burning hand found the small of my back, and pressed me against him. I felt the pressure of the kiss increase as our shared desire picked up.

Then, in the midst of it all, a nearby voice curtly exclaimed. It was like a bucket of cold water tossed at us, distinguishing the fire that was once ignited. We jerked our heads away, pulling out of the kiss to see who was acting in such an abrupt manner.

Surprisingly, but yet not, it was Santiago.

"Do you guys mind? I'm trying to work!" His eyes were blazing and his voice was cold and bitter as he snarled at us. But there was a hint of something else there too. I couldn't quite pinpoint what. Was it— jealousy? I laughed inside my head, immediately discarding that thought. Absolutely not. What was there to be jealous of? "Go fuck each other somewhere else." His hand slammed the laptop screen shut and he stormed out the kitchen, exasperated. I was almost shocked the screen hadn't shattered, given how hard he had closed it.
