Dreams come true

My dream finally came true
The one that involves you
You finally stayed
And I should be happy
But there's this little inkling that's telling me to stay away
I don't want to play any games
I just want you to stay
You ask me on a date
But I'm busy that day
So I try to see if you want to hang out with me
And after 2 long hours of restless sleep
I see there is no reply for me
Maybe you're busy I say
And as I sit here trying to be a poet
The thought of you consumes me
So I try to hide my feelings
But the thoughts of you never sway
Maybe you'll text me right now
And say I'm sorry
But that won't make sense
What should you be sorry for?
I'm the one who welcomed you in
So my dream did come true but I know it's not true.
