~The Sky and the Ocean~ Percy x Reader

2nd Pearl

"So guys where is the next pearl?" Percy asked. "Well, let me check the map,"I grabbed the map to see where we were going next. "Okay so the next place we are going is Nashville, Tennessee." I said. "We should probably rest for tonight." Annabeth stated. "I agree" The rest of us said. So we stopped at motel and got a room. They didn't care about the fact that we were 12 year olds. But I'm not complaining.

By the time we had gotten to the motel the red ring around Annabeth's hand was gone. Sadly, mine was still there and it didn't look like it was going away for a while.
After we settled down Percy had disappeared. I looked outside our window and saw that he was in the pool. I sighed of relief.
I decided to just chill out on the bed. I mean after the day I've had you would too. Trust me.

Grover then turns on the news. And I hated the news. So right when he turned it on I dipped.
I went outside and saw Percy still in the pool just chillaxin' underwater.

I sat at the edge of the pool and took my shoes off. Then rolled up my jeans and put my feet in.
Percy must have saw me because he came from up from underwater.
"Sup man." I said casually.
"Hey..." I saw him looking at my hand.
"Oh yeah... The lady had a really tight grip.."
"Lemme see your hand." He held out his hand waiting for me to take his hand.
I put my hand in his and I watched water crawl up his hand and into mine.

I saw the ring around my hand disappear as the water surrounded it.

"Wow. Even though I've seen this before it's still so cool."
"Thanks." He said rubbing the back of his neck. (I love when guys do that😍)
"We should get back now."
"Yeah" he replies.

When we got back Grover yelled us," Guys you might wanna see this!"

"So Mr.Ugliano tell me what happened with your wife and son." The news lady said.
"Step son. Not son. Well Percy was having a hard time in school time. So, he decided to take it on his mother and I. His friend yelled threats at me and kidnapped his mother." He said.
"Nope!" I took the remote and turned off the T.V.
"Man, Gabe is always telling stories," Grover says as he takes a bite out of the soda can he just drank.

(Sorry I forgot what happens next so I'm gonna skip to where they get kicked out. M'kay. Okay. 👌)

Grover walked in to me the bathroom after our "Group Chat".
I heard a loud groan come from the bathroom," You okay in there Grov." I asked with with wide eyes and eyebrows raised.
"Guys I can't go pee with her watching me." Grover said walking out holding her by her hai- snakes.
All of a sudden we heard a shriek come  from outside our room.
It was a lady who was looking through our curtain staring at the head. I don't know what she saw it as but, it must have not been good.
Annabeth went over to the curtain and closed and looked back at us with mwide eyes," We need to leave."
"Yeah." I nodded in agreement.

OKAY SO IM FONNA END THIS CHAPTER HERE...
