Alex's POV

"Great, where's my room," I muttered, seeking out a dorm room. I had a tag in my hand saying "Dorm 1781" in big, bold letters. "Why the fuck is this school so big."

Whilst I was looking out for my dorm, I crashed into someone. I had been too busy looking at the door numbers to even look where I was going, and so had this stranger.

"Ah shit, sorry dude!" He yelped. He had a nice voice, I noted, though this wasn't the time.

"It's okay, man, it's my fault anyway," I replied, as I got up, dusted myself off, and stretched out a hand to help him.

And that's when I realised how beautiful this guy was.

He had freckles like little constellations everywhere on his face, and bright green eyes. He had slightly tanned skin as well. Jeans and a green flannel shirt definitely suited him, I can tell you.

We had a few moments of silence just staring at each other, before he took my hand and I dragged him up.

John's POV (Going slightly back in time)

Ah, college. Just when I expect to see my best friends Marquis de Lafayette and Hercules Mulligan first thing in our dorm, I crash into a really handsome stranger.
He must've been looking for his dorm room, when we walked into each other.

"Ah shit, sorry dude!" I yelped, as I gathered myself.

"It's okay, man, it's my fault anyway!" He replied, getting up. He stretched out a hand to help me. What a nice guy!

That's when I realise it's clearly not only his personality that's nice.

So is his face.

He has brown-black hair tied into a low, scruffy ponytail. He wore slightly torn jeans and a plain white shirt.
We stared at each other for a bit before snapping out of it. He dragged me up.

"So, what's your dorm number?" I asked.

"1781. You?" He replied. A strange feeling of happiness took me.

"I'm in 1781 too!" I responded. Cute Boy grinned.

"What's your name?"

"John Laurens. What about you?"

"Alexander Hamilton, but I go by Alex."

Alexander, huh. Nice name. Almost as nice as his face.

"What did you say?" Alex asked. I went deep red as I realised I said that out loud.

"Uh, your name is almost as nice as turtles," I stumbled. Well done, John. You're a fucking genius, aren't you?
Alex giggled. Ah yes. This is it. I can feel the gay washing over me. Glorious. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

"So, you like turtles?" He asked. Relief swamped me.

"Yep! Definitely the best animal. It's all that I draw, to be honest," I responded. Alex smiled.
Oh my god, that fucking smile just made my day.

Then, we reached the dorm room, and heard shouts from inside.
Hamilton gave me a confused look, but I just rolled my eyes.

"The people in there are my best friends. You get used to their craziness after a while though, trust me," I said. He nodded, as I opened the handle.

"John Laurens in the place to be!" I yelled.

"Oui oui, mon amie, we know your name!" Lafayette replied, coming over and patting me on the head. He easily towered over all of us; apart from Hercules Mulligan, his bulky (and insane) boyfriend.

Said bulky and insane boyfriend leapt down from the bunk bed literally screeching:

"HERCULES MULLIGAN!"

"JESUS CHRIST-" I began, before being engulfed in a hug from my two best mates.

"John! What took you so long?" Herc asked.

"I did," I heard Alex say.

It must be intimidating, being looked down on by an extremely tall French guy and a bulky teen when he's even shorter than I am.

"Who are you?" Herc and Laf asked in unison.

"Alexander Hamilton, but I go by Alex."

"And why did you hold up John?" Herc questioned. You'd think it was a damn police investigation if we weren't in a dorm room.

"We walked into each other whilst I was looking for my dorm room." Herc and Laf sniggered, looking at me. I glared at them.

"John, was that okay with you?" Lafayette asked innocently. Alex gave me a look.

"Yeah, it was fine," I replied, shrugging. It took so much effort not to slap the Frenchman right there. I looked at the messed up bed covers, on what I assumed to be Laf's bed. And by assume, I mean know. How do I know?

Only the images of the American and French flags on the extra blanket gave it away.

"So, my guess is you made out whilst I was busy?" I questioned, smirking.

Herc and Laf turned bright red, and Alex and I laughed.

"W-Well, John, that's an i-interesting question," Mulligan stuttered, looking at his boyfriend for guidance. But Laf was in the same situation.

"So, you two are together?" Alexander asked. At first, me, Laf and Herc glared at him.

"Yeah man. Ain't no homophobe, are you? Herc queried. Alex raised his hands with a fearful look.

"Whatc Hell no! Open Bisexual here, guys," he responded. Instantly, Herc's glares dropped. I felt a tingle go through my spine. Dude. You have a chance with him. Oh for fucks sake John, you useless homosexual.

"Thank God! I'm gay, only closeted to my dad. Herc and Laf are both the most pansexual people you'll ever meet," I breathed. Alex grinned.

"Great! So, what should we do with the remainder of the afternoon?" He asked.

"Let's go to the nearby pizza place," Herc suggested. "We can bring the others with us."

"Others?" Alex questioned.

Alex's POV (Again)

"Others?" I questioned. There are more?

"Yeah! The Schuyler siblings; Angelica, Eliza and Peggy. Then there's Maria Reynolds, Peggy's long-time crush. And sometimes, even Jefferson, Madison and Burr tag along, though they aren't officially part of the squad," John said.

"How are there so many?" I asked.

"It's hard not to like Mulligan," Lafayette answered, shooting a look at his boyfriend.

"I'm still here!" John yelled, but a smile betrayed that he was happy. And boy, that smile was beautiful.

Is this my bisexuality making its first appearance? Why yes, yes it is. Goddammit Alex, you useless bi.

"Well, let's meet up with them!" I agreed.

Hoo boy, this is going to be one heck of a night. And I haven't even unpacked yet.

But it's nice that John's going to be there too.
