Later on

This is later on that same night. -A
Pidge POV

   As I lay in bed, I thought about tomorrow. I don't have any plans for tomorrow. So that means I get to be even more lazy.

Yay.

   I look at my phone for the time: 3:32 AM.
Welp. I'm not even tired. This sucks. Usually when I play around I get tired but not tonight. Weird.

*Knockknockknockknockknock*

   What in the name of quiznak? Who knocks this late? I ignore it and turn to my side. It's probably Lance trying to be stupid. But once i heard it. This time it was louder. And more frantic.
Sigh.
Fine.
   I get up and reach for my door. I open it and not even one whole word came out of my mouth.
   "Wha-AAGH!"I yell out. I get slammed backwards by a tall, heavy, and really sweaty object. No. Person. A sweaty person.
     Sobbing is all I can hear from the side of my head. Ok why is there a crying person here. And why at 3:30 in the morning? Well this is weird. Then again though, when is my life ever normal.
    "Katie? Promise me you won't ever go outside by yourself? Please?? Don't ever do that ok?"

Shiro?
 
   "Shiro? What's wrong? What happened?"I say worried. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened. So I have no idea what to say.
   Never less I rub his back in an effort to comfort him. He shakes as he cried uncontrollably. And he's still clinging to me. But I need to get up.
   "Hey Shiro, buddy, I'm gonna need you too please get up so I can breath. I really can't feel anything right now."I say quietly. I'm running out of air here.
    He nods and quietly stops his crying enough to get off of me and into a sitting position. I pull myself up and sit across from him Indian style.
   "Ok. Now what happened?"I ask him worriedly. He wiped his tears away and sighed.
    "I had a nightmare. About you. And my old boss was trying to get to you and I was inside. You came outside to sit and relax and I thought why not. So you went...you went and then five minutes later I heard a gunshot. I ran outside...and..and you were just...you...were dead. And I hated myself for letting you go. For letting you go outside by yourself when I knew my parents' killer was out there. I should have never left your side. You wouldn't have been dead if I just had gone with you. And then..that's when I woke and I didn't know if you were alive or if you were dead. I'm sorry but I had to check on you."he hung his head.
    Well. Now I'm terrified. And really worried. He never had things like this happen. And he hasn't spoken about his parents before. This is all new.
     "I'm sorry for waking you up Katie. I mean if you were asleep. I really am sorry for just bothering you in general Pidge."He said quietly.
      I lifted up his head with my finger on his chin."There is nothing wrong with this. If I had the same thing happened to me I think I would have gone to you. Or Keith. Whichever one I need the comfort from. Ha..um yeah"I tell him. I mean it's true. I would do that. Or else I would go crazy.
     "Are you tired? I probably should go so you can sleep. What time-"he grabs my phone to check the time and freezes before smiling.
     I look at him. "What's so funny? Why are you smiling like, oh." It was my lock screen. We had a sleepover two weeks ago, just me and him. It was amazing. We stayed up late into the night watching all the hunger game movies and eating all of the stash of cereal. We got yelled at the next day but it was still worth it.
      "Hunk sent me that the day after that night. He told me he got thirsty and went out to get some water when he checked up on us. He said we looked adorable."I said. To be honest it did look adorable. And he had the cutest face when sleeping.
       He chuckled. "You know what. Let's go"he says.
Wait.
Go where.
What?

Shiro POV

    I looked at her confused face and chuckled.
"Just come on."I told her.
Stubborn her decides to stand her ground. As usual.
    I pick her up and throw her over my shoulder gently as to not hurt her then reach over and grab her blanket.
"We are going to have a sleepover. And it's going to be as awesome as the last." She giggles.
"I guess. But you pick this time! I picked the movie last time."She said.
I laugh with her and nod my head in agreement.

No one's POV

As they laugh they go through her door and turn.
Just to run into someone.
"Ow! Watch where you're going!"he says.
  He looks up and stops uttering curses when he sees whom he collided with.
"Hey Keith sorry buddy I didn't see you there. You ok? I was just on my way to my room with some luggage."he says as he shakes Pidge gently. She laughs and looks under Shiro's arm. "Hey Keith!!! We're gonna have a sleepover wooooooooohhhh!!"she whispers in a not so gentle tone.
Keith casually laughs but is a bit jealous with what he's seeing. Shiro notices but doesn't say anything about it.
"Well I was just going to my room after eating so yeah. I'm going to bed. Night Pidge! And..goodnight to you Shiro." He says eyeing Shiro. Shiro isn't intimidated by him but has figured out what's going on.
And Pidge is completely oblivious.

      Hey guys it's A here. This is the second chapter. I actually wrote all the story in my notebooks so I'm going to try and upload maybe tomorrow. Cuz I'm going to a senior breakfast and getting my cap and gown😁so happy. Anyways. Things are starting to get heated up ayeeeee.
