The doctors told me I couldn't play basketball next year. I was soooooo sad. I wouldn't be able to continue my career. Btw my name is Riley. Also btw I am a freshman in college. I broke my ankle and I sprained my knee. I don't know what to do now. I love basketball too much to let it go. All my friends and teammates brought me flowers, candy, and basketballs. I am so thankful to have friends like that to comfort me. After everyone left, Corey stayed with me all night. He was the only one who I really really trusted and loved. That night I was trying to get in my bed. Corey was helping me. When I got in the bed he kissed me on my head, like he always does to make me feel better. I'm glad he stayed with me tonight. I don't know what I would do without him.
For the past couple of weeks, everyone from the team has stayed with me over one night at least once. I have amazing friends.
