Paul and I are in my living room discussing things.
"I think that we should have a house in LaPush." Paul says.
"But I work in Forks." I say.
"And I work in LaPush." He says.
"Alright, we buy a house in LaPush. Maybe after a little bit I can have my own clinic there." I say.
"Your parents are rich. We build a house in the woods and they get you your own clinic there." Paul says.
"I can't do that." I say.
"You can. The animal clinic in LaPush is closing and the clinic your working at is closing. So, your parents buy the clinic there and we can live there." He says. Just then my mother walks into the house.
"Mom! Come here!" I yell.
"What?" She asks.
"Tell her your brilliant plan, Paul." I tell him.
"Well, it will be easier for me to have us live in LaPush. But she's working at that animal clinic that's closing here. So if we buy the animal clinic in LaPush, she can work there." He says.
"That's going to be a lot of money." She says.
"We know. But a lot of people there have pets and no one wants to come to Forks for the vet." He tells her.
"Mom, I know it is a lot to ask but please. Paul is a police officer there." I say.
"Alright." She says.
"And build a house in the woods?" I ask.
"These are your birthday and holiday presents for the next five years." She says.
"Alright, deal." I say.
