"How does one initiate a fucking conversation?" The raven head thought, a few steps away from the small, street side flower shop. He sighed as he slid his hands in his dark, skinny jean's pockets, deep in his thoughts.
How could he leave a good first impression of himself on that guy? Should he pretend to see him for the first time and be struck with his beauty like they show in those dramas? Yoongi felt extremely stupid. He usually didn't care about initiating conversation, but this was a first so he was as skilled as a one year old. Should he say hello and compliment him before getting down to business? Or was it socially unacceptable to be so nice right after meeting someone? Wait..was he being pushy?
"Um..Hi.."
Yoongi's head shot up on hearing a soft yet raspy voice. The voice had expressed obvious confusion. His eyes met with the dark, chocolate eyes of a young man, and Yoongi instantly knew who it was. The man was dressed in a plain, white shirt, paired with light blue skinny jeans ripped at the knees. A long, lighter blue apron hugged his upper body, the large pocket in between filled with different types of light weight gardening tools. But no matter how much someone debated with Yoongi, the ravenhead could not emphasize enough on how the stranger's scruffy yet beautiful orange hair was the best thing about him. Was he an idol in the making?
That thought definitely lowered Min Yoongi's self confidence. So much so, he felt like he shouldn't compliment the florist or he'd be clubbed in with the other men and women, who probably did it better than him.
"Are you alright?" The man before him spoke, showing concern to the frozen human who had suddenly stopped in his path right before the shop. And now the same man was staring at him. The ginger hesitated to say anything more than necessary, so he kept quiet until Min Yoongi finished sarcastically praising himself silently for the best first impression that he made,"Sorry, hi. Um.." Yoongi stammered, scanning for words to say. He couldn't believe he was talking to such a beautiful man. His beautiful almond shaped eyes, long eyelashes..
Almost immediately, he caught sight of his original goal. He instantly abandoned the love-struck train of thought when the angry face of Namjoon popped up in his head.
"I actually think I saw a job offer at this place some days back, and.."
The ginger head's eyes immediately lit up,"Yeah! You saw right!" He turned his head to look somewhere into the shop,"The owner is still inside. He's been helping me out since I'm the only employee here..Come!"
The ginger grabbed Yoongi's hand and pushed the small glass door open before entering the small shop. Yoongi was first greeted by the relatively cold air that brushed against his cheeks, before he noticed the seeds section on his right that was apparently on sale. He turned his head up and noticed the hanging house plants before being pulled further into the shop by the beautiful man.
He stopped dragging Yoongi along after reaching the back of the shop, who's head was filled with the fact that the handsome man was holding his hand,"Hyung?" The orange haired male called out right after knocking on a white door that Yoongi was guessing was the staff room.
Hyung? Were the owner and him friends?
"Yeah, yeah come-Wait, I told you not to just bring anybody and everybody here." The guy before us scowled at the other who now had an apologetic smile. He sighed at his employee's mistake before looking at Yoongi,"And you are?"
"Youngjae." Yoongi lied. He wasn't going to risk giving away his real name if he didn't absolutely have to. Namjoon had suggested it a month back when they shifted to this city as a safety measure since they couldn't possibly ever go back to a normal life. It also helped that their looks changed quite a bit effortlessly since the college. Even if people were after the two, they couldn't just attack anybody that looked slightly like them, forget someone with a completely different name than the notorious two.
