Namjoon pressed his phone on his right ear, trying to catch any kind of background sounds from the other end. He knew he could use the phone call itself to track down the organization's whereabous later (If it indeed was the organization), but he was desperate enough to go the extra mile. He didn't kno what he was expecting, the sound of sea, vehicles, footsteps? Anything that could point out their whereabouts or plans.
But it was dead silent on the other end of the line. No voices, no footsteps, just plain silence. Namjoon gulped, quickly pushing away any sort of fear that tried to overpower him. He opened his mouth to speak, but this time, in a more condescending and threatening manner.
"Hey, I asked who-"
"Hello?" The mysterious voice cut off Namjoon's question,"Yeah, This is Dr. Kim Seokjin."
"I told you they have good sandwhiches!" Hobie laughed as he leaned back on his chair, fully entertained by the man before him who stared at his sandwhich in amazement. Yoongi put his sandwhich back on the table, his mouth still full of exploding flavor. He chew some more before he gulped his first bite down.
"The bacon is so good.."
"I know, right?" Hobie grinned before turning his head to look outside at the street next to the café through it's glass windows. The blazing sun was still high up and shining directly at his eyes, but the younger didn't mind. He enjoyed the simple sight of a long line of colourful, pastel painted shops that shone in daylight, and the greenery in the form of small trees that were growing in-between the different shops and the flower plants that surrounded them. Not many cars passed by, let alone stop and park it on the side of the street, so there was nothing distracting the young florist from his after-lunch nature-admiring session.
Meanwhile, Yoongi found it hard to eat his newly found favourite bacon sandwhich. It was dripping with hot, melted cheese creating a slight mess on his white plate, yet Yoongi couldn't give less of a damn about it because of a certain soothing site of an auburn haired beauty gazing outside the window, oblivious to the problems of the world around him.
Yoongi stared at the male's brown, chocolate eyes that were shining brightly in the sunlight. He wasn't just looking at them, but looking into them, observing and storing every single detail about his pupils that he could, like a mother trying to get to know everything about her new born baby. There were so many things he wanted to know about him, his feelings and his thoughts and all that went on in his head. Yoongi felt like he was beginning to understand the emotions in Hobie's brown eyes.
Happiness. Warmth. Ease.
Yoongi tried to recall the last time he saw someone this pleasant to look at, contrary to every other person he's laid his eyes on and was forced to speak for even a minute. Yoongi felt like he was almost exploring Hobie's world, like he was opening a door to something.
Something beautiful, he hoped.
Suddenly, he felt a shiver down his spine. The younger male's eyes had suddenly lost all it's colour. It's warmth, pleasantness, tranquility..It had suddenly all managed to vanish in a flat second. It was suddenly clouded with an unfamiliar emotion that Yoongi couldn't pinpoint. He had never seen such a colour, but was it even a colour? His mind couldn't help but burn the sudden coldness that spread in the florist's eyes like smoke in a sunny afternoon.
