First before I start this chapter I want thank you all for reading, commenting and voting. You have no idea how much it means to me that you took the time to read this, I have to say this is by far my favorite story to ever write as I have put so much time into creating this. I've had countless sleepless nights thinking about Jax and Harlow. But I want to give credit to my amazing friend Sarah for helping me so much through this story, if it wasn't for her this would of been over a long time ago!!! This Chapter is for you girl
Jax walked up the stairs with a bowl of soup, the only thing Harlow wanted lately. It had officially been exactly one year since she was diagnosed with brain cancer. It had been taking a toll on Jax not only mentally but physically draining for him to care for Harlow around the clock, he was tired. Jax wanted to make sure that he spent every waking moment with Harlow because he didn't know if it was going to be her last at any minute. Jax had slowly come to terms that he was losing his wife and best friend but he was at peace with it all now. He knew that Harlow wouldn't of been happy if she ended up going through treatment and the last year had been amazing for him. Harlow and Jax were officially grandparents. Abel and Quinn decided together that they would name their little girl after Harlow. Giving her the name Harley Lowman Teller. Harlow of course cried when they came to her with that name and when Harlow held her for the first time she told her granddaughter all about having the Teller Lowman blood running through her veins, cracking jokes the whole time about also having Mexican blood mixed in there, that it was like a blood line that no one wanted to fuck with. All of the kids would visit everyday to see Harlow and to check on Jax, Abel was the first one to notice that Jax was looking a little under the weather the first few months and it just got considerably worse over time. Abel knew that his father was afraid to lose his wife. But as request from Jax. Abel take over as president permanently. Everyone in the club knew that Abel deserved it, hell he was the only Teller that would run Samcro until Tommy was able to do so.
"Here ya go babe" Jax smiled as he set the soup down on the tray infront of Harlow and sat on the edge of the bed resting his head in his hands
"Thanks baby" Harlow said looking down at her soup and then back at Jax
"Why don't you lay down and take a nap, one of the kids will be here soon" Harlow said taking the spoon and bringing it to her mouth
"I'll be alright babe" Jax said turning his head to her and giving her a small smile
"Please Jax just close your eyes for a few minutes. I will be fine I'm going to enjoy my delicious soup and watch my shows" Harlow said touching Jax's shoulder
"Even on your death bed you are still taking care of me. I love you" Jax said
"I love you too baby, now get some rest before I have to get out of this bed and put your ass to bed myself" Harlow chuckled
"Yes darlin" Jax laughed as he laid down on the bed and allowed sleep to succumb him
Jax heard a hard knock on the door opening his eyes he sat up and looked around
"What the fuck" Jax muttered not understanding why he was in the clubhouse last he knew he was in his house with his dying wife
"Jax I need you to go up to Stockton with me" Happy said through the door, Jax's brow creased as he was pretty sure that Happy wasn't riding anymore
Jax stood up and opened the door to look at Happy thinking to himself that he just had the craziest dream of his life, Jax grabbed his kutte and headed out of the dorm room and to his bike
"Hey Hap, wanna head to the new bar down the road before we head back? Heard there is a smoking hot bartender" Jax smiled as he lit a cigarette as a sudden wave of deja vu waved over him, Jax shaking the weird feeling off immediately as he reminded himself it was all just a fucked up dream about some girl, a girl he had no idea who she was
"You know how I like my women brother lets do this" Happy smiled as he buckled his helmet
"Your a sick fuck you know that Hap? I think that is why I like you so much" Jax said as he brought his shades down over his eyes
"You need a girl more then I do, keep your mind away from the doc" Happy said
Jax sighed some sort of relief that the crazy dream he had wasn't true and he remembered that Tara had left him just a few days ago
Happy and Jax walked into the bar and sat at the end, Jax elbowing Happy's side as Jax watched the bartender serve another man at the end of the bar
"Be there in a sec boys" She called over her shoulder her blonde hair flowing as she moved her head
Jax bit his lip as he watched the girl bend over, her ass cheeks nearly hanging out of her cut off denim shorts
Happy shook his head as he watched Jax practically drool over the backside of the bartender and he still had yet to see her face "Shes all yours brother, get me a beer I've gotta take a piss" Happy said smacking Jax's shoulder as he stood up
Jax continued to bite his lips as the bartender swayed her hips as she walked over
Jax squinted his eyes as he knew he saw that face before, butterflies filling his stomach as the bartender walked closer to him.
"Can I get ya anything?" She asked shooting Jax a smile that nearly knocked the wind out of him
Jax couldn't breathe as he looked at the woman standing before him. Quickly scanning her body with his eyes, Jax didn't notice a scar inbetween her breasts. Didn't see a crow tattoo on her arm. Jax's mouth grew dry. When everything clicked in his head. The woman standing before him was his wife, his wife twenty five years ago. When he first met Harlow Loman for the very first time
"Hey Darlin what's your name?" Jax asked trying not to freak out that the girl he dreamed about last night was standing in front of him
"Names Harlow" She smiled
"Harley Lowman right?" Jax said as his lips turned into a smile
"Yeah Harley Lowman but I go by Harlow who are you?" Harlow asked looking at Jax like he was crazy
"Harlow this this going to sound absolutely insane because you have never met me before but I had this crazy dream about you last night. My name is Jax Teller" Jax smiled
Jax watched as Harlow brought her hands up and rested them on her hips
"Well Jax, tell me about this dream of yours? Does it involve you and I together forever?" Harlow chuckled
"Babe you have no idea" Jax laughed as Harlow slid a beer towards him knowing that this time around he was going to do everything right, even though some of the dream was hazy to Jax he knew that this one going to be one crazy ride that he would never forget
