Secrets weren't made to be told

After Piper was finished helping Jax fix the old beat up Honda Accord she walked into the clubhouse to wash her hands

"Well if it isn't the hot shot doctor" Veda snarked

"You still cant let that go V?" Piper asked

"Why should I? After everything we have been through?" Veda asked

"Don't go there, just don't" Piper said walking over towards the kitchen

"Why are you afraid Mom and Dad might find out? Then you wont be the perfect daughter anymore" Veda said

"Veda, some things aren't meant to be told. We made a promise to eachother that this would never come up" Piper said

"Well maybe I am a secret teller now, no pun intended" Veda chuckled

"Don't, just don't because then it will force me to tell them about that thing you asked me for help with" Piper said

"You wouldn't" Veda said

"You don't think if you go blabbing to mom and dad that it was really me that stole all those years ago that I wouldn't turn around and tell them that little trip to Sacramento with your friends wasn't a lie to come beg me to help you get rid of that kid?" Piper lashed back

"I swear if you tell them anything Piper" Veda said

"You'll what?" Piper asked

"Nothing, why are you here anyway?" Veda asked

"Because I took a few vacation days and came to visit" Piper said starting to wash her hands

"Yeah I am sure, the Princess has returned for a reason she just doesn't want to share" Veda said as she heard the clubhouse door open and close

"Did I see a Charger with Nevada plates out there and she couldn't even come say hi to me?" Piper heard, the scruffy voice she missed

"Hey old man, see you are still kickin" Piper laughed

"See you are still like your mother" Happy smiled as he pulled Piper into his arms

"I will never change, where is Riley?" Piper asked

"She is with your mother having girl time I guess" Happy said

"What about Liam?" Piper asked referring to her Uncle who was five years younger then she was

"He is at college still, kid wants to be a lawyer, not sure where all the smart genes are coming from" Happy laughed

"Yeah I'm not sure either Gramps" Piper said

"Hey shut it kid" Happy laughed

"I've gotta go make my rounds with my brothers, I'm sure they missed me" Piper smiled

"I'm sure they didn't" Happy said as Piper walked away

"And you wonder where mom gets it from?" Piper laughed as she headed back to the dorms

Jax walked into the house right at seven with Abel, who insisted that he hang out with his sister

"You know I see your ugly mug all day I haven't seen your sister in a while and you still insist on coming" Jax said turning around

"Don't go there Dad, I know you were up there the other day" Abel said raising his brow at his father

"Oh, so your sister is a little snitch" Jax laughed

"No shes concerned that is all, atleast I am not here to bust out secrets Dad" Abel laughed knowing he did have a secret of his own but he knew he needed to wait a little while longer before he said anything to his parents about Quinn

"You are lucky my hands hurt or I would knock you in the head" Jax laughed as they walked into the dining room to find Harlow and Piper sitting at the table drinking wine

"Got the party started without us?" Jax asked as he sat down at the head of the table

"You didn't bring anyone else with you? I couldn't find Tommy or Jay today" Piper asked

"Jay took off this morning, I think he is upset we know" Harlow said

"Know what?" Piper asked playing stupid

"Hes gay" Jax said

"I knew that, come on you never picked up on these things when we were younger?" Piper asked

"No never thought of it" Jax said not realizing that Piper was probably right

"Well maybe he gets that from his..." Piper began

"Don't say it. He doesn't know" Jax said

"Oh sorry" Piper said biting her lip

"We cant tell him that will send him off the deep end" Harlow said

"I understand, Sorry I brought it up" Piper said

"I just want to have a nice dinner, the one the other night wasn't so nice and I just want to eat my dinner without losing my shit" Jax said

"Sorry Dad" Piper said as Harlow stood up to go get the roast out of the oven

"You two are the only ones who know that and id like to keep it between us" Jax said quietly

"Got it sorry again. Can I tag along at the shop tomorrow? Maybe I can see my little brothers" Piper sad

"Maybe not likely, but yes you can come work at the shop with me tomorrow" Jax smiled

"Thanks Dad" Piper said

After dinner was cleaned up Piper and Abel took a bike ride through town, Riding on the back of a bike was one thing she missed the most about Charming was spending time with her family

Harlow stepped out of the shower to see Jax standing there looking at her

"Even at your age you still look beautiful" Jax said as he wrapped his arms around Harlow's mid section

"You don't look so bad yourself" Harlow smiled as Jax nibbled at her neck

"I think we need a vacation just you and I like old times" Jax whispered as he lifted Harlow up and brought her to the bedroom

"Mhmm I'd like that baby" Harlow moaned as Jax opened her legs as inserted two fingers inside of her

"Get all wild and crazy" Jax said as he bit Harlow's lip

Piper heard the front door open and close, not used to sleeping in her parents home she chose to do some reading on the couch she looked up and saw her little brother

"Hey Jay" Piper smiled

"Piper? Wow wasn't expecting you home" Jason said

"Come sit lets talk" Piper said

"About what?" Jason said

"Whatever you want, I know that look on your face something is wrong" Piper said

"Can I tell you something but you have to swear not to say anything to anyone" Jason said looking around to make sure no one was around

"You can tell me anything Jay, I'm your sister and unless your in danger your secret is safe with me" Piper said

"Mom isn't my real Mom" Jason whispered

Piper felt her heart clench in her chest. Jason was never supposed to find out.
