Lock up

As Harlow and Jax walked into the house Jax immediately knew that something was bothering Harlow, he couldn't put his finger on it but he knew she was pissed.

"Babe whats wrong?" Jax asked as he slipped his kutte off

"Nothing, just got somethings going on in my head" Harlow said storming off

"Babe, you want me to have full disclosure you gotta too" Jax said following Harlow

"Fine you really wanna know? I don't like Quinn, there is something off about her and I cant put my finger on it" Harlow said

"Babe there is nothing to worry about, Abel is happy. I get that you are upset he went and got married without us and that bothers me too but you gotta let that shit go" Jax said knowing that this was coming. Jax knew that Harlow was going to have an issue with any woman that was involved with Abel

"No, I'm not going to let it go. He should of come to us Jax, one of us. How would you feel if Piper didn't tell you she went and got married?" Harlow asked

"Well I'd be pissed but I would get over it. I hate to say this babe but they are grown now, they are all adults and can make their own choices and we kind of went and did it ourselves" Jax said knowing that this was going to be blown out of proportion

"You are kidding me right now right? I don't give a shit how old they are Jax they are still our kids, and I don't care if we did it. We had our reasons Abel is just like you I swear sometimes" Harlow snarled

"No way he is all you. Tommy is more like me" Jax admitted knowing that Tommy was just like he was when he was that age

"I really hate talking to you sometimes" Harlow snapped

"Here it comes" Jax said rolling his eyes. Things may seem all fine and good on the outside of the house infront of people but most of the time Jax and Harlow's marriage was falling apart piece by piece

"Here comes what? The fact that I am right Jax? I mean come on I know you and you would be so fucking pissed if Piper went and got married without letting her father walk her down the isle. Look at what you did to Kip, and you still haven't forgiven him yet" Harlow said

"I had every right to do what I did, do you not realize that he had been sleeping with our daughter since she was like fifteen?" Jax asked

"Cant tell me you didn't lose it at fifteen Jax, you were the biggest whore before we met, trust me I heard all the stories" Harlow said

"Where is this coming from? What the fuck babe" Jax said pinching the bridge of his nose

"I think I am done here, I'm going to work" Harlow said grabbing her bag and pushing past Jax leaving him speechless not sure what was going on, he knew that Harlow had been having issues at work but he didn't think it was effecting her this much to the point she was snapping and getting out of control

A few hours later Harlow sat in lock up at Stockton PD she had no idea how she got there or why, hearing the keys clink against the metal bars

"Mrs. Teller your lawyer is here" The officer said

"My lawyer, Officer I'm really not sure what I did. I must of blacked out"Harlow said

"Mrs. Teller you should speak with your lawyer about this" He said as Ally Lowen walked into her cell

"Harley, what did you do?" Ally asked sitting down on the metal bench

"Ally I really have no idea I blacked out or something. I left the house to go to work and then I ended up here" Harlow said severely confused

"Harley you assaulted an officer when he pulled you over for speeding" Ally said

"No I didn't, I left my house and went to work ask Jax" Harlow said

"Harley you left your house and got pulled over you weren't heading towards work" Ally said

"Where did I get pulled over?" Harlow asked

"In front of the liquor store, the owner said you were pretty wasted looking when you went in there" Ally said

"Ally I am not following. I don't drink I haven't been inside of a liquor store in almost twenty years" Harlow said as tears fell from her eyes

"Are you sure you are feeling okay? You look like you are about to be sick to your stomach" Ally said looking at Harlow who began sweating and got light headed

"I need Jax" Harlow said running a shaky hand through her hair before her entire body went limp

"Officer I need a bus!" Ally yelled as she grabbed Harlow before she could hit the floor

Jax hated getting phone calls from the hospital especially ones that involved his wife. Ally called him prior to that and told him that Harlow was in lock up for assaulting an officer which he wasn't surprised she was pretty heated when she left the house, Jax knew he should of went after her and made sure that she made it to work so part of him felt guilty that she was now on her way to St. Thomas because she passed out, Jax was pretty sure that it was because she hadn't been eating regularly like she was supposed to since this happened the other day, she passed out while she was in the shower but Jax chalked it up as nothing

"I'm here to see Harley Teller" Jax said as he walked up to the nurses station

"Well she is having a CAT scan right now but I can show you to her room but I must warn you Mr. Teller there are officers in there" The nurse said standing up and leading Jax towards Harlow's room

"That's fine I needed to speak with them anyway" Jax said

Jax walked into Harlow's room looking at the two officers

"Jax" The rookie said

"Guys what the hell happened?" Jax asked

"Well she was acting irrational in the liquor store so Pauly called the cops and she was still in her car when they got there drinking" One of the officers said

"This isn't adding up, my wife doesn't drink, she hasn't had anything in over twenty years she is a recovering addict" Jax said

"Well I'm sorry Jax, but she failed the breathalyzer" he said

"This doesn't make sense, what are they scanning her head for?" Jax asked

"They seem to think something is going on in her head I guess that is what I over heard anyway" he said

"Fuck, I gotta talk to the doctor" Jax said walking out of the room to find a nurse

"Hey, I need to talk to someone about Harley Teller" Jax said

"Oh yes I am her nurse" the pretty blonde said

"I'm not sure if you are aware of her medical history" Jax said running his hand over his hair

"We are, they are checking everything right now to rule it out but they should have the results back from the CAT scan shortly, look they are bringing her back right now" she said pointing to Harlow being wheeled back into her room

"Babe, what happened" Jax asked walking into her room

Harlow looked at Jax and bit her lip "I'm really not sure"

"Babe you gotta tell me" Jax said

"I don't know Jax, I really don't, alls I know is my head is killing me from what I do not know but it hurts" Harlow said as she held her head

Jax took a deep breath, he had this feeling that he knew what was wrong but he was terrified to admit it and even more scared to tell her. Jax walked out to find the nurse who he spoke to earlier

"Hey, I'm not sure if they checked but her mother died of brain cancer is there anyway you could check that?" Jax asked

"We have. The doctor will be in shortly to discuss things with you" The nurse said solemnly before she walked away

Jax knew before the doctors even came in to break the news. Harlow had brain cancer
