(AUTHOR'S NOTE)
*Kiyoto is Firelord Yomato's son not Victor*

I gaze up at the darkening sky. When did it become dark so fast? I'm almost there. I can feel it. I've been walking for around an hour and a half. There's a lot to think. I don't know what I'm going to expect coming in the arena. Will there be total chaos?
Ever since I left Griffen and Perry, I've felt emptiness inside. I miss their presence, but above all I feel guilt.
I haven't seen any signs of more warriors, which is good. I can't help but think of Victor. Should I hand myself over or fight? What would my past Avatars do? I'm so lost on what I should do. Remember, my first priority is my people.
I look out among the darkness and see the edge of the arena. Now, I need to find that door.
I hear lightening in the darkness of the night, and I jump in shock. I look up and see rain falling. Great! I sigh and accept that I'm going to be freezing soon. The water hits me harshly and violently. I reach the wall and walk along it until I can hopefully find the door. I continue walking until I surprisingly see the entrance with an empty booth. The rain continues to hit me, and I give up try to bend it not to hit me. Rain isn't that bad.
I walk through the entrance, a light above guiding my steps. I hope I will rejoice with Mr. West and Hannah! I need to say goodbye to them. I hope everyone is able to stay warm with the rain.
I stroll in hoping I'll be able to sneak into the bleachers. I walk up the bleachers only hearing the heavy fall of rain. Is everyone dead...?
I run up the steps and reach the platform onto the bleachers. My mouth falls open in shock. Everyone is gone!
"No!" I scream tears falling with the rain. I am too late. I sprint down the alley searching for someone, anyone! There's no one! I shiver feeling hopeless. I don't know what to do! This wasn't part of my plan. I need to hunt down Victor.
I jump off the balcony using fire to level myself onto the arena floor. I spin around hoping a face will pop up in the bleachers.
I crash onto my knees assuming everyone is dead. I've failed. I lift my head up to the night sky seeing a full moon as I allow the rain to fall onto me only fueling my depression even more. Overall, the gloomy weather fits my mood.
"What am I supposed to do?" I whisper. Maybe I deserve this, but my people do not.
I hear clapping in front of me, and I open my eyes in shock to see Victor leaning against the cement walls. He really was waiting for me. I didn't even see him before.
I stand up glaring. I am fueled with hate and anger. I have to remember my objective is not to take down Victor but to save my people.
I scream against the pouring rain, "Where are they?!" I'm in no mood to fool around.
He smiles and walks toward me nonthreatening. I watch him carefully. Don't want a repeat of last time.
He yells throwing his hands out dramatically, "You're too late! They are gone!" What is that supposed to mean? Dead?
"Assure me their safety, and I'll come with you." Seriousness takes over my expressions.
He smiles knowingly and stops about five feet away, "That shipped sailed long ago Avatar! Now I can have you and prisoners!" I glare in disgust.
"How'd you do it?" My hands clench in anger.
"When you strike fear into the hearts of people they'll do anything." He smiles and looks down like he is reliving an old memory. He glances back up at me smiling knowing he has won.
