Tom's POV

"TOOOOM! CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE?"

I sigh, and walk to Edd's room.

"Yeah?"

He laughed nervously.

"Funny story... Okay, maybe not that funny. I already talked about this to Matt and..."

Are we moving?

"Paul's not coming back."

I stare at him, bewildered.

"You're joking, right?"

He shakes his head no.

"Are we moving?"

"No, but I've been keeping in contact with someone for a very long time, and they're gonna come live here."

"What happened to Paul?"

He hesitated.

"I don't know, he left his phone here. And I don't think you're gonna enjoy having our new roomate."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Just... Try to be nice to each other."

"Tch, lame."

I was about to walk out of the door, when Edd stopped me.

"Oh and uh... Before I forget, he's gonna be here in a couple hours."

"Whatever."

I walk back to my room, and lay on my bed. I'm not sure if I want to know who our new roomate is.

**TIME SKIP**

It's been three hours, shouldn't he be here by now?

Eh. Probably running late.

I drag myself to the kitchen to get some liquor from the fridge, and wait.

And wait.

And wait.

And wait.

Then I finally hear the doorbell ring.

"I'LL GET IT!"

I sit my flask on the counter, and answer the door.

"Hello?"

I see a man in a black jacket with silver eyes, ripped jeans, and hair styled in the shape of horns.

"Hello, Thomas."

That voice... No. It can't be.

I slammed the door in his face, and storm down the hallway.

This isn't happening. It isn't real. I'll wake up from this nightmare any minute now.

"TOM! WHAT DID I TELL YOU?! I SAID TO AT LEAST TRY TO BE NICE TO TORD!"

I ignored him, and tried to walk away, but he grabbed my hood, and dragged me to the door.

"Sorry about that Tord, he's just in a BAD MOOD right now..."

He smiles, and oh how I miss and despise that smile all at once.

Did he always have a missing tooth? Or did something happen over the years?

No matter, why should I care? I don't.

Edd still won't let go of my hoodie, no matter how much I try to wriggle out of his grip.

"Oh no, it's alright. I still don't see why he hates me so much though. You were quite overdramatic the last time I saw you."

I feel my blood boiling, and I grit my teeth.

"Are you trying to pick a fight, COMMIE?!"

"Speak for yourself, Jehovah's Witness."

Edd looked mad beyond belief. Though it didn't stop me from spewing insults.

Then he broke.

"ENOUGH."

We both went silent.

"I wanted this to be a happy reunion, not a warzone! I'm disappointed in both of you..."

He shook his head, and left the room, letting go of my hood.

"Get inside, bastard.. "

He scoffed, but obliged.

I'm not gonna survive long with that thing in the house. Oh well, life isn't always fair, I guess.
