Chapter 20

Your POV

"Mom and Dad?"

"Yes. Your presious Mommy and Daddy." He said grabbing Rick and walking over to me.

I was completely scared right now.

"You-you don't know anything about my parents."

"Oh but I do. And so does Rick." He replied opening a portal.

"Rick?"

We step through the portal and I immediately recognize the setting.

"My home." I whispered.

"That's right. And what day is it?" He asked me.

"My 7th birthday." I answered.

"Let me go you big jackass." Rick growled.

My parents set my birthday cake on the counter.

"(Y/n)!" They called.

A portal appears behind them. Rick and other versions of him come through the portal.

"Come get me assholes!" Rick yelled.

The portal begins sucking things into it. My parents hold onto the counter. Rick and the others run through another portal and disappear. 7 year old me comes downstairs and gasp.

"Honey run!" My mom yelled.

"No! I don't wanna lose you!" Little me yelled.

The portal's strength becomes stronger and my dad looks at me.

"We love you sweetie." He said and let go.

They were sucked into the portal.

"MOM! DAD!"

We go back to the prison and tears fall from my eyes. The guard puts Rick and Morty in a cell and walks over to me.

"Lemme ask you this princess, do you really love Rick?" He asked.

"I thought I did." I answered coldly.

Rick and Morty gasp.

"All this time you knew I was looking for the one who made my parents disappear. But you gave me trust in you to blindly miss that YOU were the one who did it! I HATE YOU RICK SANCHEZ!" I yelled.

Rick was in tears, but I didn't care. I pulled out my laser gun.

"I made this gun so I could kill the one who was the cause of ruining my life. But," I kick it into the cell, "I figured you'd like to do the honors."

I open a portal and go home.
