You stood there with Gaara telling the man at the desk that your luggage didn't come through the conveyer belt. You were standing in a small room with about a dozen other people all complaining about the same thing.
"We had a connecting flight from Dallas."
Gaara added to your other statement which was as sweet as you could possibly make it 'I don't have my luggage. Where is it?' You had a scarily sweet smile on your lips as you stated that to the man behind the desk.
"You were on the connecting flight from Dallas?"
Both you and Gaara nodded as the man pressed a few buttons and picked up the phone.
You sighed as you leaned against the wall placing your hands on your eyes. It was around 9:40 in Florida, and you were tired, constant running around and getting to your gates and then taking off and landing again. It was physically and emotionally draining.
"Hey...um"
Gaara leaned against the wall beside you, hesitantly placing a hand on your shoulder.
"We'll get our bags...."
His hand slipped off your shoulder as he awkwardly looked away. You smiled, knowing Gaara wasn't the greatest at comforting people, it made you happy and a little bit more hopeful because he still tried.
"Um may I ask what would be something they could look for in your bag to make sure it's yours?"
"A lot of Ramen themed items"
You had to stifle a laugh as Gaara slightly smiled at his own remark.
"Hmm...what do I have in my bag?"
You placed your chin on the palm of your hand thinking back to what you had packed.
"One pair of black sandals. And a red bandana"
He nodded as he typed this on his computer.
"We are assuming your luggage didn't make it on the plane for Orlando and that it's still in Dallas. If that is true then it should be here around 10:00 or 11:00."
Gaara looked at his watch and growled slightly before walking out of the room. You tailed behind him after telling the man that if the bags came to send them to your hotel.
"So, what's up with our bags?"
You sat down beside Lee sighing as you leaned against the wall.
"The guy says that our bags might not have even gotten on the plane. We might get them at 11:00"
"Might?!"
You nodded towards Kiba, a saddened expression on your face. Everyone say there in silence listening to the angry passengers asking where their bags are.
"Why don't we go to the hotel and get some sleep. I told the guy in there where we were staying so they could drop off our bags."
A few people nodded, others looked like they wanted to pass out. You looked over to Kakashi who sat there contently reading his book. A goofy smile and a light shade of pink disrupted his cheeks. Over on you left tension between Sasuke and Naruto started growing probably because Naruto said something stupid. Lee was no longer by your side, he was now walking around the baggage claim doing different forms of fitness. Shikamaru laid back, his hands on the back of his head, his eyes closed. You shook your head wondering how you managed to get such strange friends.
"I think that's a great idea Y|n. Everyone's drained of energy, well except for Lee."
Smiled and nodded to Neji who was now standing beside you.
All of you made it too your room, you had told the lady at the from that if your bags came, to put them some where safe and that you'll get them in the morning.
"I'm going to take a shower"
The boys nodded. Shikamaru fell flat on the bed fallen asleep almost instantly.
The shower felt nice against your skin, washing all the stress and anxiety of the day away.
When you came out all of them were sitting patiently, you were a little scared.
"What's going on?"
Shino stepped forward a bit.
"There isn't enough beds, so your going to have to sleep with one of us."
Your eyes widened. Do I have to choose?
Take your pick
