It was a boring ride to school. She can't believe she's at the backseat of a taxi with an arrogant guy. And he can't believe he'd been sharing the ride to school with this girl she find cute but really annoying. True, they will pay half of the supposed expense but that's not the point. These two are boiling up against each other.
"Can you open the window—" // "Can you turn to number 2—" they both broke the nauseating silence but ended up staring at each other because of their different requests to the taxi driver. One wants to breathe natural air, the other one wants dry air in a bit low temperature.
"2? Seriously? It's almost winter." he rolled his eyes and avoided having a conversation with her. "Can you please open the window? It's freezing here."
"Of course it would be, you're not even wearing a sweater." he said coldly without even looking at her. "And it's not even cold. Switch it to 2 please." he looked at her with a smirk while she tried to avoid the guy's melting gaze at her.
"Ehem! My car, my rules." said the taxi driver while wiggling his eyebrows at the two from the front-view mirror.
They sighed and looked outside. She stared at the cherry blossoms from her left, he stared at girls strolling on the sidewalk. She loved how the wind swooshes the blossoms to the ground, he loved how the breezy wind could swirl the girls' miniskirts, exposing skin and he whistled.
She looked at his direction with eyebrows furrowed. "Men. Typical!" He looked at her and shrugged, telling her that he doesn't care about what she says.
Then there was silence again.
When she takes a cab to school, it would only take her 10-15 minutes but when she's with this guy she doesn't know, 20 minutes may have passed by now? Even the driver is a slow one. She couldn't help but sigh and just wait for when they could arrive to school.
He was never early not until today. He was very much excited going to school today. He even took an hour to take a bath.
